R Kelly is Resting

r-kelly-court-outside.jpg

R Kelly’s defense team has closed their case in his child pornography trial earlier this week after just two days and calling only twelve witnesses. The buzz going around is that their low-ball strategy of failing to call the alleged video victim as a witness could backfire and send the R&B singer in jail for a long time. An expert spoke to the Chicago Sun-Times saying that leaving the girl out might cause jurors “to speculate she had some inducement not to testify.” The prosecution returned the day after to hammer the singer about his mole. Since there were some photos of R Kelly having the mole, I say this case is pretty much closed and that he’s doomed.

R Kelly Saved By a Mole

Something as small as a black dot on R Kelly’s body may end up saving the singer’s hide from having to spend time in jail. The R&B singer’s lawyers are actually basing pretty much his entire defense on one mole. Kelly’s trial began on Tuesday wherein the defense claimed that the guy in the video, which was screened in court, doesn’t have a mole but Kelly does. The defense also claimed that the woman in the tape was a prostitute. Among other curiosities in the video, the girl calls the man in the video ‘daddy’ and he apparently pays her at the end.

Stars Sing for Obama

Stars Sing for Obama

The stars are really showing their support for the Presidential candidate of their choice and they’re doing it in their own special way. Music producer and Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am wrote a song called ‘Yes, We Can’ which was inspired by Senator Barack Obama’s speech after the New Hampshire primary. Jesse Dylan, son of the legendary Bob Dylan, worked with Will to create an inspiring music video for the song.

The video features the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Kate Walsh, Nick Cannon, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, John Legend, Eric Balfour, Adam Rodriguez, Kelly Hu, Herbie Hancock, Enrique Muriano, Nicole Scherzinger, Common, Harold Perrimeau, Johnathon Schaech, Maya Rubin, Tracee Ellis Ross, Bryan Greenberg, Austin Nicohls, Tatyana Ali and Alfonso Ribeiro.

Britney’s Time

Britney’s Time- video

A typical big-budget mainstream music video takes about 2 or 3 days to film. But Britney Spears is attempting to do the impossible by wanting to do it in just 2 hours! The pop wreck is set to film a music video for her next single ‘Piece of Me’ of Tuesday, November 27. The shoot will start at 8 AM at the restaurant/lounge Social Hollywood which will feature Wayne Isham on the director’s seat. Wayne helmed the video for Brit’s 2002 hit ‘I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman’.

A source on the set tells Us Weekly that Britney has a scheduled visit with her kids on Tuesday and she will only be available to film for two hours, between noon and 2 PM which would explain why along with 15 extras, Britney also has a body double.

I don’t know why she even bothers.
