Why is it that the people who have more money never pay their taxes? The IRS filed a lien against country singer Dwight Yoakam in late January for a delinquent $458,000 tax bill. The celebrity has yet to comment about this as I’m pretty sure that he’s busy looking for half a million dollars to pay off that debt. How do these people forget that they have to pay their bills? Don’t they have accountants and assistants to remind them of these things? I wish him the best of luck in finding that money. If he hasn’t paid his taxes for it to amount to that, I’m sure it’s just lying around somewhere.
It seems the singer was pretty scared about the possibility of having more than one child with her boyfriend Kris Smith… but the medical inquiries show that Danii Minogue need not worry about that. This is what Danii Minogue said on the matter: “I don’t know if we’ll find out what we’re having, we haven’t had a chance to think. We know it’s not twins – the doctor said this morning that there’s only one in there and Kris and I both sighed with relief! Following the accusations that his fund is not really using the money it has in the most altruistic of ways, Wyclef Jean sent out a message to all of the accusers. In it he speaks of how he just got back from Haiti, from digging up dead children and finding cemeteries for them, but the reason for which he came back was that he would clarify this whole thing with the funds. Of course, Wyclef Jean will be going back to Haiti every couple of days, but this is where things get puzzling: why would he leave for such a trivial thing as a few accusations instead of staying there and actually helping out? Helping out with his own two little hands, as much as he can… what happened to that determination? Or was sleeping in a barracks not hefty enough for Wyclef Jean. The message came as a youtube video… couldn’t he had filmed and posted that from Haiti… in between saving a few children? Why fly all the way back to the US for one little, five-minute message?
Devar Hurd, the man who stalked and harassed R&B singer Ashanti and her mother with disgusting sexually explicit texts and messages, was found guilty earlier this week of stalking and aggravated harassment. The creep won’t be sentenced until after the holidays, January 11th, but the man’s lawyer feels that a terrible injustice has gone down. He still remains firm that what his client did wasn’t lewd, it was love. He told the press “Sending pictures and texts is not crime. The intent was never to harass Tina or Ashanti. What he wanted was what we all want in life — love.” It’s not exactly the right way to go about it.
I wouldn’t mess with Morrissey even if I was given a pretty good chance of surviving. At one of the singer’s concerts in Hamburg, Morrissey kicked out a fan who didn’t appreciate a joke that he made onstage that ‘Hamburgers’ should be called ‘Hamburgists’. An audience member shouted “fuck you” at the singer, prompting the diva to have security remove the concertgoer from the show and telling him “you can fuck yourself”. Well, didn’t he figure that he could have been offensive? I doubt that he was in the right in that one. Oh well, the guy already paid anyway. If Morrissey gets the money, I don’t think he has anything else to complain about.

Mariah Carey’s words really do tell the entire story: “My puppies are starring in this ad with me, too. I had my team with me but the pups had a mini entourage of their own, of course! And why wouldn’t they? It was a big shoot and even my entourage had an entourage – my stylist had an assistant, my security had extra security. The shoot was based on the fact that some people think I’m a demanding diva. I have no idea why people have that impression!” So, not only is Mariah Carey a diva, but she’s also giving those around her that diva-like behavior. You can just picture one of her bodyguards hiring his own muscle and giving the fact that he is the one protects Mariah Carey as a reason for him needing protection.
I have some good news for the residents of LA – Courtney Love is moving out! The washed up rock singer and incoherent blogger has packed up and gotten the heck out of Malibu and is now officially living in New York City. New Yorkers can blame the move on Courtney’s “double-crossing employees” for staging bogus police raids on her Malibu home in an attempt to get a piece of Kurt Cobain’s fortune – or so she says. She also said claims that her phone had been tapped and computer could have been hacked into. There’s some evidence though that her employees attempted to place fund “to senior citizen housing developments and property all throughout the United States”. It’s hard being Courtney Love.
‘Gossip Girl’ actress turned aspiring singer Leighton Meester just released her first single ‘Somebody to Love’ off of her debut album. The song features R&B crooner Robin Thicke. The 23-year old spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show recently, talking about her song. Leighton said the song is “definitely about what’s going on in my life and I think anybody can relate. You’re crazy, you’re busy, you’re young and you’re running around and it’s really hard to find somebody to love. People love you but you don’t really love them.” I like the song. I’m just not completely sold on it.
Emmy Rossum is opening up about her 45-year old rumored boyfriend, Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz. The 23-year old actress told People at the grand opening of the W Hotel in Washington DC, “I get why chicks dig him. He’s extremely kind, incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, creative and respectful.” Adam has dates the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox. As for her dating status, Emmy would only say “I don’t discuss my love life because it’s always misinterpreted or put under the microscope. It’s especially annoying when you’re dating someone else who’s well-known, which is why I normally would never go out with a famous guy… Let’s put it this way. I’d be flattered if someone hit on me tonight, but I really can’t say if I’m available or not.”

Dancing With The Stars host Samantha Harris said it was “definitely a shocker” when Macy Gray talked about losing her dance virginity on live TV.
Samantha, 35, is hosting the new season of the show and she said she was left shocked when singer Macy Gray was asked about her performance and said live on the show: “I just busted my cherry.”
The comment was bleeped out of the east and west coast broadcasts.
Samantha said to OK! after the show: “When Macy made the comment about losing her dance virginity, it was definitely a shocker.
“We were used to [former DWTS competitor] Cloris Leachman making some broad comedic statements that were somewhat shocking, but I think Cloris would have blushed from this.
“But I think it’s what makes Macy such a great addition to our show – she’s exactly who she is. I’m sure it will find its way onto YouTube. The stage managers and cast were blown away.
“I actually had to turn away from camera and step out because I was laughing that she’d said something so shocking on camera but I think worse has been done on live TV.”
According to a report from The Daily Beast, Michael Jackson’s good friend Elizabeth Taylor had a role in his early dependencies, as the retired actress introduced the late singer to dermatologist Arnold Klein. When the King of Pop met the doctor, Elizabeth was battling her own prescription drug and alcohol problem. Due to treatment for alleged vitiligo, which causes skin depigmentation, and residual pain from his 1984 accident while shooting a Pepsi ad, Dr. Klein reportedly provided Michael with drugs, which began to snowball into addiction. Michael was warned by confidantes about the dangers of his relationship with Elizabeth because she was enabling him and never encouraged him to get better because she was having the same problems.

The recent fiasco involving Olympic medalist Michael Phelps and his infamous bong photo has made him realized one thing at least—not all friends could be trusted. He said it was just a small group with most of them just sitting around and celebrating and taking cellphone pictures. Apparently, not all of them were trustworthy people and he learned this the hard way. The 14-time Olympic gold medalist said he made a mistake in judgment when he partied and smoked pot. Probably, Michael Phelps wanted to say he made a mistake by getting caught with the pot on his hands.

Cash strapped Kerry Katona knew just what to do when both her husband Mark AND her nanny threatened to walk out last week.
She made damned sure she kept the Nanny — with a 50 per cent pay rise she can’t afford to look after the four kids she can’t cope with.
A pal revealed: “It made no sense—but when Kerry has problems she just throws money at them and hopes they will vanish And that infuriated Mark so much this time he stormed off for a couple of days.”
The latest drama in 27-year-old Kerry’s crazy world unfolded when her nanny Gemma got so fed up with the star’s chaotic lifestyle she walked out on her last week.
The shocked drama queen—on the verge of bankruptcy—desperately offered $52,000-a-year Gemma an astonishing extra $26,000 on her salary to stay.
“She called her begging her to go back and offered her a pay rise that she couldn’t turn down,” said the pal. “Kerry just finds it a struggle with four kids on her own.”
But it caused such a a blazing row with husband Mark Croft, 38, that he stormed off to a hotel for two nights with their youngest child, Maxwell, four months.
“Mark really was at the end of his tether,” said the pal. “It’s not like him to go and leave her and it shows how serious he was about this. But Kerry persuaded him to come home.”
The friend said Mark has told her she needs to focus on looking after Molly, six, Lilly Sue, five, Heidi, 18 months, and Maxwell instead of relying on helpers.
Kerry’s splashout on the nanny comes just weeks after she was considering taking equity out of her posh $2.6 million home to settle an unpaid VAT bill of $214,000.
Her lawyers pleaded with a bankruptcy court for leniency because Kerry was waiting for a payment of just under $1,000,000 and she was given until the end of next month to find the cash. Meanwhile the pal says she’s determined to get her marriage back on track.
She has asked Gemma and Mark’s brother Stuart to take the kids away for a few days next weekend so she can spend some time with her husband.
Her pal added: “She knows she needs to get her act together and focus on being a good mum and a good wife and she’s terrified of losing him.”
