Actor Robert Pattinson is risking it all for actress Kristen Stewart.

The 23-year-old Twilight hunk’s relationship with co-star Kristen, 19, is supposedly jeopardising his career. Pattinson shot to fame in the vampire film series.

A real-life romance between the two is said to likely ruin New Moon, the next film in the movie series – Kristen’s character in the film, Bella Swan, falls for hunky werewolf Jacob Black, played by 17-year-old Taylor Lautner – and the producers want to make the love feel real.

An insider said: “The producers took Rob and Kris aside and told them to keep their relationship under wraps for a few more months. But they’re so much in love, they can’t keep their hands off each other.”

The source added: “They’re crazy about each other, and they want to shout it from the rooftops.

“But they’re also part of this massive machine called Twilight, and producers have this thing timed with scientific precision. They don’t want Rob and Kristen to tell the world about their relationship until the time is right.”

The insider added: “Rob’s whole world is Kristen. I’m surprised he even knows his lines because he’s so absorbed with her. He has no time whatsoever for his friends and has cut virtually everyone off so he can spend every waking moment with Kristen. He’s all about his woman.”

New Moon hits cinemas on November 20.

Shia LaBeouf fears his life is “meaningless”.

The Transformers star – who is said to be dating screen beauty Megan Fox – says he worries that there is no substance to his existence.

He said: “Sometimes I feel I’m living a meaningless life. I know I’m one of the luckiest dudes in America right now. I have a great house. My parents don’t have to work. I’ve got money. I’m famous. But it could all change, man. It could go away. You never know. I know if it all went away, I’d be fine. Kipling says, ‘If you can risk it all in one turn of the pitch-and-toss…’”

LaBeouf, 22, tells a US magazine: “I feel that way. I don’t give a damn about the money anymore.”

Crowe and Scott fall out on Robin Hood movie set

SPL95019_006

Russell Crowe and director Ridley Scott are said to be fighting as they film a new Robin Hood.

Sources say the pair have fallen out – and their spat is costing producers a fortune.

“The producers had to fly to London because Russell and Ridley won’t talk to each other,” an insider told a US newspaper. “Every time they stop filming, it costs the production millions.”

The $175 million movie – being made in England – has been marred by setbacks.

Actress Sienna Miller quit the film, originally titled Nottingham, but now known as the Untitled Robin Hood project, and was replaced by Cate Blanchett.

And Gladiator star Crowe reportedly said he no longer wanted to work with his long-time collaborator Scott.

It has also been claimed filming was delayed amid fights over locations.

Crowe, 45, was also reportedly ordered to go on a crash diet.

One producer is said to have quipped: “We can’t have Robin Hood looking more like Friar Tuck.”

But Universal chairman Marc Shmuger said: “Ridley and Russell asked us to visit to see more than an hour of footage they’ve already shot, which was nothing short of spectacular.”

Crowe’s publicist, Alan Nierob, said: “It’s a good scene down there. Everything is on schedule.”

Crowe recently revealed the movie’s title may be changed to Robin Hood in order to market it more easily when it is released next May.

Courteney Cox and husband David Arquette will both be returning in a fourth Scream movie, according to director Wes Craven.

Wes, 69, is set to direct the fourth installment in the horror film series and admitted Courteney and David will be returning but other characters will not.

He said: “I’ve been told, and I don’t think they’ll mind if I say this, the deals on David Arquette and Courteney are virtually set. I believe everybody else will be new.”

The slasher-film director also said he “laughed” at the Scary Movie films, which poked fun at the Scream trilogy.

He said: “I laughed but it was also annoying because somebody used my very shots and I didn’t have any financial participation in it!

“It was less than a year after we’d finished Scream 3 that that came out.

“You just have to keep moving in Hollywood because somebody will be right on your heels making parodies of what you’ve just done.”

The Baroness is whisked away by helicopter from a rooftop as the Eiffel Tower is taken down by a missile.

During the raid, the ice-cool villain pauses to compliment one terrified woman caught up in the chaos on her “nice shoes”.

The movie opens in the US and the UK on August 7.

Ben, 43, stars as Lawrence “Larry” Daley in the hit flick alongside Ricky Gervais, Robin Williams, Steve Coogan and Owen Wilson.

He added: “It’s a great family film because there are jokes for little kids, teenagers and grown-ups as well.”

Ben also said he enjoyed being reunited with British funnyman Ricky Gervais in the sequel.

He said: “I had so much fun with Ricky.

“If you look on the DVD extras, you’ll see how many times we had to start over because we were laughing so much.”

ER star Parminder Nagra has revealed David Beckham told her she was a good footballer at the premiere for film Bend It Like Beckham

Posted on Apr 27, 2009 under Actress, Beckham, Movie Premiers | No Comment

ER star Parminder Nagra has revealed David Beckham told her she was a good footballer at the premiere for the film Bend It Like Beckham.

Parminder, 33, shot to fame in 2002 when she played the role of Jessmindar in the football flick.

She said: "David Beckham said I was a good footballer. I sat right behind him at the first screening of Bend It Like Beckham, but I couldn’t see his face. I did notice he had nice manicured nails and he was concentrating on the screen intensely."

She told British magazine Live: "He was with Victoria, who tapped her feet any time music came on."

She added: "And then she turned to him and said: ‘This is really good, isn’t it?’ After the film, he came up and shook my hand and said I’d done really well."

Parminder landed a big break on US medical drama ER following her performance in Bend It Like Beckham and has since moved to the US.

She said: "I felt like a fraud for the first week on ER. I knew no one in Hollywood and I was joining this huge dynasty of a show. For the first few weeks, I was bumbling around looking lost, which was OK – my character, Neela, was an intern and also had no idea what she was doing."

Lindsay Lohan’s New Movie Not Headed For The Theaters

Posted on Mar 27, 2009 under Lindsay Lohan, Movie Premiers, Movies | No Comment

lindsay-lohan
Lindsay Lohan has more reasons to be nervous these days that her luck might just run out. To her dismay, her newest movie “Labor Pains” would not be shown in theaters after all. Her fans, if she still has them, would not have to spend a few bucks watching Lindsay Lohan on the big screen because they can watch her right in their living rooms. Labor Pains will instead premiere on the cable channel in July 2009 and will also be released in DVDs on August.

The film Labor Pains, which completed production in August last year, would have been an ego boost to Lindsay Lohan considering she has not starred in a movie since “Chapter 27″ was shown in 2007. A source however said the movie will hit theaters internationally but did not reveal any release date. Lindsay Lohan is however eyeing a new romantic comedy movie opposite Nick Cannon so her fans might want to watch out for that. That is, if they will still be around after Lindsay Logan blamed her fans for her lack of work saying her sicko fans are so distracting.

“Gran Torino” gives Clint Eastwood best career box office opening

Posted on Jan 14, 2009 under Clint Eastwood, Movie Premiers | No Comment

During his checkered and illustrious career Clint Eastwood has probably seen it all and may a bit more than what he expected but at the winter box office last week his movie “Gran Torino” managed to rake in $29 million which is incidentally the best movie opening of his career.

What is even more astounding that the movie was initially in limited release for four weeks. But as movie goers started revving up to the story the prints jumped from 84 theaters to 2,808.

It was while directing this movie that Clint had famously commented that this movie would probably be his last as an actor and ever since then there has been tremendous interest amongst old and newbie fans to catch the legend on screen one last time.

I knew Gran Torino would be #1.Go Clint GO! Everything Clint touches turns to gold. Good for him!

ROBERT PATTINSON GETS PAID TO GET SCREAMED AT

Posted on Nov 21, 2008 under Actors, Movie Premiers | No Comment

Robert Pattinson walked the red carpet last night for the world premiere of Twilight where he was reportedly deafened by a million screaming teens who thought it’d be cool to scratch their necks all up to simulate a vampire bite.
Us Magazine reports:
“They all just scream at me and now it just kind of feel like my job,” said Pattinson, who joked with MTV News that he’d gone “completely deaf” at the premiere.
Just the other day, Pattinson realized, “there were some girls who had scratched … the side of their necks so [they were] freshly bleeding when they came up to get a signature.
“They were like, ‘We did this for you.’ I didn’t know what to say. ‘Um, thanks guys?’”
What happened to filling up your room’s wall with posters? Is this the new definition of fandom?
It’s kinda bothering me. Is it bothering you?

Nicole Kidman will be Charlize Theron’s husband

What a couple they would make!!!

The strikingly beautiful Nicole Kidman is all set to marry the stunningly gorgeous Charlize Theron, not as a homosexual, lesbian couple but as a man and a woman.

“The Hours” Oscar winner Kidman and the “Monster” Oscar winner Charlize Theron are about to play their parts in a movie together – as a married couple.

The hotties will be starring in the movie “The Danish Girl”, which will also be produced by Nicole Kidman and the movie will be based on a 2000 best-selling novel about real-life Danish artists.

One can just imagine the heat on the set of the movie with such hot babes everywhere.

Jessica Alba: new look, new movie

Posted on Nov 14, 2008 under Jessica Alba, Movie Premiers, Movies | No Comment

Take a look at her and pinch yourself. She may have just given birth a few months ago but look at her now—heavy fringe, a seductive look and wait— a new movie! Jessica Alba’s new fringed-seductress look was snapped up during the 5th Annual Black Ball for “Keep A Child Alive”.

Alba is reportedly preparing for a new movie “The Killer Inside Me” where she will co-star with Oscar nominee Casey Affleck. Affleck became popular for his scary portrayal in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”. Well, his fans would not be disappointed because here’s another dark movie which was based on the classic novel of Jim Thompson.

In the movie, Affleck will play the role of a West Texas Sheriff named Lou Ford who is portrayed as a boring guy on the outside but is disturbed and paranoid inside. Alba essays the role of a prostitute—so maybe that explains the fringe and the sultry look!

Alba is popularly known for her role in Fantastic Four where she plays Invisible Girl. Let’s hope she would be more visible in the movie because looking at her post-pregnancy bod, it would be such a waste to just keep it invisible for “The Killer Inside Me!”

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Hugh Jackman team up for A Fine Romance

Posted on Nov 14, 2008 under Actors, Actress, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Movie Premiers, Movies | No Comment

The fervent wish of fans who are be dying to see Catherine Zeta-Jones and Hugh Jackman together has finally been granted last weekend not in a movie or a musical but right at the Sony Pictures Los Angeles lot where they hosted “A Fine Romance”, an event that honored the best screen and stage shows in the past.

The appearance of both Zeta-Jones and Jackman as co-hosts of the said event has only flamed the still unconfirmed reports that the two are indeed pairing up for a big-budgeted musical. Sources are adamant that negotiations for the screen adaptation of Cleopatra are already underway but both Jackman and Zeta-Jones are mum about it.

The 3D film about Cleopatra, Antony and Caesar, which is also set in the 1920s much like Zeta-Jones’ “Chicago”, will reportedly be directed by Steven Soderbergh. The 1962 Cleopatra movie, which starred Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Rex Harrison, is known to be the most famous Cleopatra. The highly-budgeted film flopped in the box office but earned a best picture nomination and even got four Oscar Awards.

While the camps of Jackman and Zeta-Jones are keeping things hush-hush their fans can still enjoy their movies albeit separately—with Zeta Jones in “The Rebound” and Jackman in “Australia”.

Tom Cruise quits Shrek

Posted on Sep 23, 2008 under Movie Premiers, Movies, Tom Cruise | No Comment

Who wants to be a villain?

At least not me. Leave me out of it. But still there are many who are willing to get a villain’s role.

The “Top Gun” stud hero Tom Cruise also does not want to become a villain, even if it’s Shrek.

Shrek is undoubtedly the most popular villain-hero in any Hollywood movie. However, the rumors are in the air that Tom Cruise has refused to give his voice to the animated character in the next part of the movie: “Shrek Goes Fourth”.

The rumors were sparked when the item was published on a movie-blog stating that they have received an email from someone inside the studio stating that Cruise was being considered for the role.

The rep of the “Valkyrie” hero told the press on September 16, “As of today, there is no truth to the Tom Cruise-Shrek 4 rumor”.

Keep your fingers crossed that this rumor is not a rumor and the Green Ogre gets the cruising voice behind him.

Tommy! Consider it once again, for the love of the ogre.

Jude Law is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes

Posted on Sep 23, 2008 under Guy Ritchie, Movie Premiers, Movies | No Comment

Rumors are circulating that Jude Law is currently in negotiations to join the cast of Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes, alongside Robert Downey, Jr.
According to the insiders Law will be playing Holmes’ sidekick, Watson.
As of the moment Law’s camp has not sealed the deal with the film producers, but if he wants to work on the film then they better confirm his deal soon.
Some of the lead roles, like the film’s villain, have yet to be finalized.
The movie will be based on both the classic stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and from the comic book series.
I hope this doesn’t into a flop!

Justin Timberlake Wants Press Mum

Justin Timberlake has reportedly been acting all high and mighty with journalists attending this weekend’s press junket for his new movie ‘Love Guru’. The singer/actor’s handlers reportedly demanded that journalists sign over the top confidentiality agreements before being granted an audience with Justin. The contract demanded that the press not mention anything personal or private, destroy all unapproved materials in advance and make freelancers personally liable for anything they may write about Justin. And that’s just some of it. Someone’s success seems to have made his head grow larger than necessary. Newsflash JT, you’re not even the star of the movie.

Paris Hilton - That's NOT Hot

Did you make it to the box office to see Paris’ movie “The Hottie and the Nottie”? Umm, me neither.

Apparently there weren’t all that many people who did. The romantic comedy starred Paris, Joel David Moore, and Christine Lakin. On Friday, the movie only brought in $9000 on 111 screens.

Seems like people were more ineterested in fools like Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. Their movie Fools Gold brought in $7.65 million on 3125 screens.

Holiday Movie Goers are Enchanted

Holiday Movie Goers are Enchanted

Hollywood finally rolled out of its slump with strong movie attendance over the Thanksgiving holiday. Disney’s fairy tale romance Enchanted debuted as number 1 and took in $35.3 over the weekend and a whopping $50.05 million since its release on Wednesday.

The movie features actress Amy Adams as a cartoon princess who is banised to the real-world by her fiance’s evil stepmother, played by Susan Sarandon. The princess finds herself in busy Manhattan.

Also featured in the movie are cuties Patrick Dempsey (Grey’s Anatomy’s McDreamy) and James Marsden.

This was the second-best Thanksgiving holiday debut ever, topped only by another Disney favorite, Toy Story 2, which brough in a record $80.1 million. Rounding out the top five Thanksgiving debuts are additional Disney releases, Unbreakable, A Bug’s Life, and 101 Dalmations.

Hollywood has seen a decrease in movie attendance over the last two months, but this weekend’s stellar performances give them great hope for the rest of the year.

I haven’t made it out to see the film yet, but who can resist a good love story? Especially if I get to look at McDreamy for 2 hours!
