Britney Spears has a new line of clothing on Candie’s which came out earlier this week. The 28-year old pop singer recently sat down with InStyle to talk about what her favorite items on the collection are. Britney shared “I love the black trench coat. You can wear it over your outfit or as a dress. There’s also an amazing studded skirt that’s perfect for going out. I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girly. I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection.” Miley Cyrus should shop there. There are great age appropriate clothes for her that are along the lines of showing that she’s a grown up without looking slutty.
Twilight actress Ashley Greene is the latest star to sign up to new movie LOL.
Greene, 23, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in new flick Eclipse, will star alongside Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore and Douglas Booth in the upcoming film by director Lisa Azuelos.
Greene will be playing the role of Cyrus’s enemy in the coming of age story, according to US website Deadline. Moore, 47, will play the role of 17-year-old Miley Cyrus’s mum.
The film, set in the times of Facebook and YouTube, is a remake of the French movie L.O.L: Laughing Out Loud, which was also directed and written by Azuelos.
The singer recently admitted that her life has never really fallen under the category of “normal” even before she stared in “Hannah Montana” due to her father Billy Ray Cyrus. This is what Miley Cyrus said on the matter: “I didn’t really know anything else. Because of my dad, I was always home schooled, I would go on tour with my dad. I didn’t really know what a ‘normal’ life was. So when people ask me if I miss it, you can’t really miss anything you don’t know. I never really was just a kid, I guess.” Oh, most would beg to differ… by the looks of it, Miley Cyrus seems to have always been a kid. Liam Hemsworth plans to get teen superstar Miley Cyrus involved with a crusade to help Australian children.
The Herald Sun reports Hemsworth plans to invite his girlfriend to join him as an ambassador for the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) when he returns to Los Angeles next week.
The actor said: “I think she would [join], I will speak to her, but I don’t see why not, she supports a whole bunch of good charities.”
Cyrus spoke out about the relationship last week after keeping it under wraps for months – despite their sighting at a Phillip Island music festival over New Year’s. They also graced the Oscars, she as a presenter and he as a guest at the Elton John viewing party.
The ACF states on its website it is a “not for profit organisation that works tirelessly to support children and families devastated by abuse, family violence and neglect”.
Hemsworth, 19, said: “The ACF is something I feel very passionately about. My dad has worked for them for 20 years and it’s something I really believe in. The world is a scary enough place as it is and the home is one place where kids should feel safe and comfortable.”
And he does so because of her attitude and nothing else. This is what Bret Michaels had to say about Miley Cyrus: “Does she stir shit up? No. What I think that she does is she doesn’t take any shit. I love that about her. I’ve seen it. I’ve seen people come at her, come at me, and we’re both the same. I set them straight. The nominations for the annual Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzie Awards) were announced earlier today, and Beyoncé has been nominated in the Worst Actress category for her performance in Obsessed.
She is up against Sandra Bullock for All About Steve and Disney star Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Megan Fox has received two Worst Actress nominations for Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen and Jennifer’s Body, while Sarah Jessica Parker was nominated for her role opposite Hugh Grant in Did You Hear About The Morgans?
Male Hollywood stars were also targeted in true Razzie fashion – actors including Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy and John Travolta were nominated for Worst Actor, alongside Disney trio the Jonas Brothers.
It seems that she too has realized that she might not exactly be setting the best of examples for those who admire her. So, what to do in such cases? Change her ways? No! Miley Cyrus decided it best for her not to take any more responsibility in what the younger minds see in her: “My job is to be a role model, and that’s what I want to do, but my job isn’t to be a parent. My job isn’t to tell your kids how to act or how not to act, because I’m still figuring that out for myself. So to take that way from me is a bit selfish. Your kids are going to make mistakes whether I do or not. That’s just life.” Well, Miley Cyrus’ little sister is probably the perfect example of how good a role model she actually is.

After the bus accident that tragically cost one of her tour members his life, Miley Cyrus and her family has released a statement on the Disney star’s official website. The statement from the singer and her family says “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Bill ‘Uncle Bill’ Douglas. Members of our tour are like members of our family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family in the midst of this tragedy. He will truly be missed.” Rest in peace Bill Douglas. It was an unfortunate event but on the bright side, no one else was seriously hurt.

Earlier this past weekend, new pictures of Miley Cyrus were once again leaked out onto the internet. Even though she keeps on saying that mistakes are made so we can learn from them, how many more of these mistakes is she going to make? They’re endless! And she wonders why the Mouse House is looking to replace her. If she’s doing this to rebel, it’s not going to get her anything but a swift kick in the butt once time comes for her to be replaced. And in my opinion, that’s going to be some time soon. She should really stop uploading her pics anywhere.
There are times that I really start to feel sorry for Miley Cyrus because she’s never going to live that Vanity Fair scandal down. But those times are few and far between because she keeps doing or saying things that makes me think that she really deserves it. In a new interview with TV Guide, she says “I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of ‘Sex and the City.’” What 15-year old thinks of doing that? The irony of it all is that she talks about her big love for God and wearing a purity ring just like the Jonas Brothers. If you look at her photo leaks, you can pretty much see that Miley is anything but pure.
While the rest of the world is most likely over the issue, Billy Ray Cyrus still isn’t stopping from slinging some nastiness at Annie Leibovitz and Vanity Fair over the controversial shots of Miley Cyrus. He actually compared the situation to stomping in poop. Ok. When ‘Today’s’ Meredith Vieira asked him where he was when the shot was taken, he apparently had more important things to do than look after his daughter. See, if he had been there, something could have been done to prevent the whole scandal from happening. So really, isn’t he the one who’s supposed to take the blame?
Miley Cyrus and her parents are most likely getting some heat from Disney due to her topless shoot for Vanity Fair. While the 15-year old teen star has been quiet on leaked pictures of her in provocative poses, she is speaking out on her magazine photos. Miley said “I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.” If you get to read the mag, she says otherwise. Disney was also critical of the magazine saying “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”
The entire Cyrus family was in New York City this weekend. And though most fans gathered to see Miley, a few were, um, luckily, treated to a dose of Billy Ray as well. Photographers caught the ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ singer with his daughter Noah Lindsey, son Braison Chance and dog Tex as they left Trump Towers. Billy stopped for pictures with a few kids. There was no sign of Miley.
Miley showed up later in the safety of an SUV with a bunch of autograph seeker requesting her to sign electric guitar covers. I never knew Hannah Montana guitars were all the rage of hard rockers these days.
I never thought I’d utter these words, but Lindsay Lohan has said, “My life is different now….It was time to grow up.”
The statement came Friday morning when Lindsay called a Las Vegas radio station and ended up talking to the hosts of Mix 94.1 FM’s morning show. She called to try and win Hannah Montana tickets for a friend’s neices; the station was giving tickets to people who could get celebrities to call and chat.
Linsay said, “I think my life is different now, and it’s changed, and I’m growing up.” She says getting into rehab is the reason she’s been plastered in the headlines lately
She discussed her current plans in the studio as far as her music goes. Not much in the works for the big screen. Lindsay did mention planning a humanitarian trip to Africa.
