It seems that she’s actually trying to establish a new record. Beyonce’s last concert almost met with a bit of an embarrassing accident as he high-heels slipped on the stage almost leading to the fall of this grand star. But Beyonce’s shows wouldn’t be worth so much money if she weren’t able to make even the most embarrassing looking accident look like a stage move. To the untrained eye, Beyonce’s little tumble might have seemed like a performance gimmick. This must be why she has so many fans, especially so many well paying fans that just shower her with big plump checks.
Bono alongside Irish singers and songwriters Damien Rice, Glen Hansard and Mundy took their talents to the streets of Dublin for Christmas last week. The group of musicians were busy busking, the term used for street prerformers playing for tips, on Grafton St. With all the proceeds going to Simon Community and the homeless. I wonder how much they made off of their performance. If that came as a surprise to everyone on the street, which I’m pretty sure was, I bet that they got a lot of money just from the sheer shock of seeing them out there doing what they did.
The singer recently came up and admitted that she is terribly excited about hosting the famous Saturday Night Live show. Taylor Swift wrote the following on her twitter, “Starting the SNL process I kinda feel like I might have a heart attack or pass out in the pitch meeting. I’m that excited.” Taylor Swift probably has nothing to worry about… if she does pass out, Taylor Lautner will most likely be there to catch her. Or, to make matters more amusing, Kanye West will play the part of the human trampoline, after all, it is supposed to be a comedy show.
It has been revealed that after her performance on Good Morning America, scheduled for Thursday, Rihanna will finally be telling her side of the story in regards to what happened with Chris Brown. And bear in mind… she’s still wearing her eye patch. But still, hasn’t Rihanna told this story before somewhere else… like, for instance, in court? Or was that too early a time for her to release it to the public and, now that she’s over it all, she can finally talk about it. Well, it’s good Rihanna decided to give everybody the heads up, now the whole viewing community can boil in anticipation until the faithful day finally arrives.

On November 2 at 11 p.m. ET, Fuse, the national music network, will televise the worldwide premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, the band’s legendary, never-before-released 1992 Reading concert. The show, marking the first time that Nirvana fans will experience the epochal August 30, 1992 headlining appearance at UK’s Reading Festival, will debut as an hour long broadcast the night before the limited edition 90 minute CD+DVD Deluxe Edition is by Geffen/UMe.
Featuring 25 songs including “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “All Apologies” and “Come As You Are,” Nirvana’s performance at Reading ranked No. 1 in Kerrang Magazine’s “100 Gigs That Shook The World” chart and was voted as “Nirvana’s No. 1 Greatest Moment” by fans in a recent NME poll.
“Fuse is excited to provide Nirvana fans with the first opportunity to witness this historic music event since the concert 17 years ago,” said David Weier, vice president, programming, Fuse. “Not only are we airing a highly anticipated, never-before-seen concert in more than 65 million homes, we are providing Nirvana’s loyal fan base with companion programming for a comprehensive and unique viewing experience.”
Leading up to the premiere of Nirvana Live at Reading, Fuse will air “Loaded: Nirvana,” a half-hour of Nirvana’s greatest music videos at 10 p.m. ET, followed by “Videos That Rocked the World: Smells Like Teen Spirit,” a celebration of the legendary music video which was a breakthrough for music, entertainment, culture and society.
While the show’s centerpiece was a performance of nearly the entire Nevermind tracklist, also noteworthy were early performances of three as yet unrecorded songs which wouldn’t be released until 2 years later on In Utero: “All Apologies,” “Dumb,” and in its first ever public performance, “Tourettes.” The career-spanning setlist also reached back to the band’s 1989 Sub Pop debut album, Bleach, for “Blew,” “About A Girl,” “School,” “Negative Creep” and first single “Love Buzz,” and even further back to the mid-’80s for “Spank Thru.” Other songs from the Reading set would appear in studio form on the Incesticide compilation later in the year: “Aneurysm,” “Been A Son” and “Sliver.” Additionally, the band played a pair of beloved covers by two bands that helped shape the formative Nirvana sound– “The Money Will Roll Right In” by Fang and “D-7″ by The Wipers.
Tune in to The Ellen DeGeneres Show on October 20th to catch a performance from OneRepublic. The band will play their current single “All The Right Moves” which appears on their forthcoming album Waking Up due out on November 17th.
OneRepublic recently premiered the Wayne Isham (Britney Spears, Michael Jackson, Metallica) directed video for the track which can be seen here.
Nirvana headlining at Reading in 1992 was something you had to see, and if you didn’t see it then it was something you pretended you saw.”
Kerrang (October 2003)
“The staggering energy and intensity radiating from the stage never let up… Cobain’s ravaged pop songs coming off like some dream marriage of the Sex Pistols and the Beatles, borne on bracing waves of distorted guitar noise.”
Rolling Stone (October 29, 1992)
Ranked #1 in Kerrang Magazine’s “100 Gigs That Shook The World” and voted as “Nirvana’s #1 Greatest Moment” by fans in an NME poll, Nirvana’s historic August 30, 1992 headlining appearance at the UK’s Reading Festival is one of the most bootlegged concerts in the annals of rock n roll. Now, fans will have an opportunity to own a pristine copy of that entire performance — color-corrected video from the original film with audio sourced from the original multi-track masters. Nirvana Live At Reading will be issued in a limited edition CD+DVD Deluxe Edition as well as DVD-only, CD-only configurations on November 3, 2009, followed by a 2LP version on November 17, 2009.

To celebrate the release of their eighth studio album, Crash Love, AFI took to the stage at the world famous Roxy on Sunset thanks to local Los Angeles radio station KROQ. In front of an intimate crowd of hundred’s, rather than thousands that typically fill AFI shows, the band played a thrashing 14 song set filled with classics of the past, and a handful of Crash Love gems that are soon to be just that. Highlights of the night were too many to capsulize, but front man Davey Havok’s front flip into the waiting crowd on “Kill Caustic” and the stunning rendition of The Cure’s classic “Just Like Heaven” marked just a few of the moments that lit up the night. Reminiscent of 1995, AFI welcomed Nick 13 (Tiger Army) and Geoff Kresge (ex AFI/Tiger Army) to the stage to sing “Nyquil,” a track from the band’s first album, Answer That and Stay Fashionable. Electric performances of AFI’s radio singles “Miss Murder” and Crash Love’s “Medicate” put a cap on a night that will not soon be forgotten by the fan’s lucky enough to be present that night.
Fans of AFI who could not be at the show now have the chance to watch a handful of videos from the epic evening on KROQ.com. To find out when and where you can see AFI live, visit www.AFireInside.net/events. Crash Love is in-stores now and available everywhere good music is sold.
According to Kristen, the rumors that she’s dating Drew Barrymore’s ex, Justin Long, “are the funniest thing on planet Earth.”
The only thing she admitted to was that she “met him once” and that “he and his friend were kind enough to walk me home.” She claims that she’s”never seen him since.”
Liar, liar, pants of fire!!!
According to eyewitnesses, the couple have been spotted together for a few months now.
Earlier this month, they spotted at the Point Break LIVE! show at the Dragonfly in Los Angeles.
Us weekly also reports that she has slept over his house, and the next day they went to the Joe Purdy show and the following day hand lunch at the Chateau Marmont, where Long then got them a room for the night.
Is she ashamed to be seen with him? HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO BE SEEN WITH HER! She’s only as good as a rebound!
Ringo Starr chose to walk out on fans and he also chose to walk out on ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’. The 67-year old former Beatle was supposed to appear on the show on Tuesday but moments before he was scheduled to go live, he walked off the set.
Sources are chalking it up to a miscommunication when Ringo was given only 3 minutes to perform a 4-minute, 15-second song. He then chose to hightail it out of there after he wasn’t given any more time. According to his rep, “Ringo left saying, ‘God bless and goodbye. We still love Regis.’”
