Mark Wahlberg has been asking for assistance from a higher power to help troubled actress Lindsay Lohan.
“She’s certainly in my prayers,” Whalberg said.
“Anybody that’s having any kind of trouble and needs saving I try to pray for,” the proud father-of-four said after a ceremony to unveil his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“I just wish the best for her and her family, anyone who’s incarcerated �” that they turn their life around and start doing the right thing,” the 39-year-old said, Access Hollywood reports.
Lohan is currently serving time behind bars for violating her DUI probation, but there have been reports she could be released within days, after which she will head to an inpatient rehab centre.
Good news for the rebel actress Lindsay Lohan! After she was sentenced to 90 days in prison, and received threats from her “friends” behind bars, Lindsay can finally catch her breath: she will be spared from spending 76 days of her sentence in Lynwood Correctional Facility. The Actress will be released around the 1st of August. A Lynwood Correctional Facility spokesman declared that Lindsay is extremely understanding and cooperative. Lately, Lindsay has been involved in multiple scandals regarding drugs and alcohol, these being the motives that brought this sentence upon her.
There could not be a better moment for Lindsay Lohan to “revive” her musical career. Now that press all over the world has it’s eye on her, after she was sentenced to 90 days in prison, I’m sure that many people will give a few minutes to listen to this song. The song we are talking about is “Too Young to Die’, and it “somehow” got on the internet. How well the song’s title goes with Lindsay’s current situation! On the other hand, the song sounds quite good. Though it is a sad song, it is also a good one.
Why is it that Lindsay Lohan’s best tunes are coming out while she’s being such a disaster? There’s another song done by the actress/singer, ironically called ‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’. I noticed that all her song titles have some sort of double meanings. While I didn’t even report on any of her previous leaks, I decided to talk about this one because, surprisingly enough, this one isn’t that bad. To be honest, I actually like it. Her vocals actually sound good. If only she had this type of music when she was still somewhat human instead of a walking disaster, I would actually call myself a fan.
And why couldn’t he… after all, it seems like there’s a new wave of semi-amateur or semi-pro rappers coming out these days. Ryan Phillipe recently said the following about his rapping abilities to Men’s Health Magazine: “I rap really well. I can sound like Lil Wayne or Ludacris. I’m dead serious…I can spit!” He even shows us how easy it actually is: all it takes is spitting. Still, Ryan Phillippe might want to find some other term of comparison rather than Lil’ Wayne… after all, the man is still serving time. Ludacris might be a good choice, but there is room for improvement. Surely Ryan Phillippe’s salivary glands are up to the task.
While at the NME Awards in London last week, Lily Allen and Courtney Love apparently had a showdown over clothes. According to the Hole rocker, the British train wreck of a singer insisted that no other celebrity wear Chanel at the awards since Lily has an exclusive deal with the brand. Courtney decided to confront Lily and according to sources, got nasty with Lily. Things got so bad that their entourages had to get involved to pull them apart. To make things worse, Courtney went to her Twitter to say “Pretty darn rich coming from someone who starts nonsensical fights with people out of insecure jealousy on a weekly basis. At least when I’ve started fights with people its because they fuck w my kid or fuck w my $. No further comment, hatred is not my drink, I don’t like jealousy, vindictiveness, stalkers, selfishness and dishonesty, that’s just me!”
Pop star has won a court order that bans paparazzi shutterbugs from harassing her. The British singer has for long said that she is sick and tired of the many paparazzi who constantly follow her and make life hell for her.
Just a couple of days ago there were pictures in the press showing Lily hitting, kicking & punching a photographer who had got into the back her car just so that he can follow the singer to her destination. That irked the singer and she went into a no holds bar attack.
This incident made her move to the court to get an injunction against such paparazzi getting anywhere close to her. Wow that’s something I hear now, she assaults a photographer and the poor fellow cannot do anything instead this crazy gal get the court order.
I think I’m getting to old to understand how the court of justice goes about their business. Can someone tell me when is there going to be a jail especially created to house some of these maniacs that we allow to be a part a civilized society. Most of them can be put inside being behaving like hooligans yet we choose to adore their antics.
The apparently highly strained couple had yet another argument recently, only this time it got so bad that the police were called… but, Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan supposedly refused to let them in and just kept screaming at each other, furiously enough that they determined the officers to call for backup. A source also said this about the latest argument: “One of the windows on the side of the house was completely shattered, like someone had thrown something through it. You could see the shards of glass on the cement walk below.” It seems that the cat-fight is on again… sadly, it will probably end in Samantha Ronson’s favor as Lindsay Lohan may very soon be going for a trip to jail due to the recent arrest warrant issued on her name. But until that moment comes… who’s got the popcorn?
Celebrities have a way of showing how broke they are as an effect of the worsening economic crisis. Take for example Lily Allen who claims she is in dire straits. Unlike homeowners who’ve seen foreclosures, Lilly Allen still has a roof over her head and plenty of food and definitely lots of clothes and blings. So who says she’s broke? Lilly Allen does. She had complained about how she had to sell her car because banks would not lend to her.
Despite all her complaints Lilly Allen just got herself a Jamaican beach —particularly last month. Many find it hard to believe that a singer who has a number one single and album is too hard up she is forced to sell her car. She drives a BMW which she bought a year ago. She however claims that it’s all because of the credit crunch. She however admitted to being extravagant with her clothes and her biggest extravagance so far—her BMW. And perhaps the Jamaican property she bought while she was drunk. By the way, she was seen just last month going around Midtown Manhattan wearing one of her furs, buying a watch at the Aaron Faber store and then heading to Soho to do some shopping at Prada.
The famous couple have apparently hit another rough spot in their time together as they were overheard arguing at Samantha Ronson’s home in Hollywood. A source said: “The noise was pretty frightening. It was the two of them screeching at one another, and you could hear stuff being banged around too – it sounded like a lovers’ quarrel, but a pretty bad one!” The catfight begins again, place your bets, place your bets! Oh well, this is all in the days work as can you could say for most couples but in Lindsay Lohan’s and Samantha Ronson’s case it does seem to get a bit too physical. Oh well, nothing to do now but wait for the “kiss and make up” bit now.
Troublesome British singer Lily Allen allegedly gave up on drinking last year. It shouldn’t be any surprise that she has fallen off the wagon considering how many pictures have come out of her looking a little worse for wear. She’s currently out promoting her new album and says that if she doesn’t drink, she can’t take the stage. She said “Yep, I am drinking again. Last night I had my first drink. There’s no way I can get on stage without a drink. I think I’m funnier when I’ve had a few. I didn’t find it difficult to stop drinking, I didn’t even think about it. I haven’t really needed a drink but now I’m on tour, it’s fun drinking sometimes. But some things have changed. I’m not drinking any cheap stuff now – only expensive wine will do this time. I’ve gone upmarket.” I doubt she only started again when her promos started.
Lindsay Lohan does not deny her relationship with Samantha Ronson but she does not want to be classified as a lesbian. So would bisexual be more appropriate? She says “Maybe.” Lindsay’s Harper bazaar Magazine cover for December has once again placed her in the limelight, more particularly her sexuality. Lindsay and Samantha are an item and have been see around and while she does not specifically mention Sam’s name, Lindsay admits she is seeing a wonderful person whom she loves.
In her Harper interview, Lindsay said what is important is believing in what you one to do and not being afraid of who you want to be no matter if you prefer a boy or a girl. There are rumors that Lindsay and Sam are tying the knot and her dad does not have any qualms about it except that he will definitely not give her away. Lindsay’s dad said his daughter knows his beliefs and will probably not ask him to give her away in marriage if she does get married to Sam.
Lindsay has already admitted she has a lesbian lover when she turned 22. It is already out in the open that she is playing house with Sam who is a musician and is the sister of music producer Mark Ronson. Sam is also open about their relationship and has even posted their intimate photos (READ: kissing) on MySpace.
Short of being tolerant, Ms. Lohan’s close family and friends said Lohan’s wild ways seems to have been curbed thanks to her girlfriend Sam.
Spoiled rotten musician Lily Allen has released a statement about her sophomore album which is due out in 2009. She said “We decided to try and make bigger sounding, more ethereal songs, real songs. I wanted to work with one person from start to finish to make it one body of work. I wanted it to feel like it had some sort of integrity. I think I’ve grown up a bit as a person and I hope it reflects that.” Please. Actions speak louder than words and I’ll believe that she’s grown up when I see it. After hearing some of her leaks and seeing her partying ways, I really doubt it.
Amy Winehouse must have gotten just a little more crack happy these days as a new report from the UK says that Wino’s hubby Blake Fielder-Civil has been told that he may be getting out of jail by December 30 of this year if he stays clean. Good luck with that. Blake may even be let out next month for a weekend visit if he behaves himself and stays drug free. Again I say good luck with that. However, some people are still hoping that there will be no Wino reunion. Blake’s mom has supposedly pleaded with him to not go home to Amy. She says “We’re hoping that his probation officer will advise him to stay with us. If he’s linked with drugs on his weekend visit he will lose the right to come out early.”
Mark Ronson’s DJ girlfriend Daisy Lowe, the daughter of Bush front man Gavin Rossdale and British singer turned designer Pearl Lowe sang on Lindsay Lohan’s gay love affair. Daisy has reportedly said that her music producer boyfriend approves of the relationship between his sister Samantha and Lindsay. She says “I met Lindsay and Sam for the first time during the weekend before the Coachella festival. Sam is an amazing girl. The four of us had a brilliant time – a real laugh. Lindsay is really down to earth. Her and Sam make a lovely couple – they seem really happy. Their relationship is totally genuine. And they’re just so sweet together.”
Lindsay Lohan has confirmed her gay relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson is the real deal. The couple have become inseparable since the turn of the year but have never gone on record to say they are an item – until now.
Speaking at her 22nd birthday celebrations, Li-Lo lavished praise on her special someone. Lindsay said: “I just wanna live a happy healthy year, continue on the path that I’ve been on and be with the person I care about. And my family.”

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress – who spent a two-month stint in rehab last year for drink and drug addiction – enjoys a close relationship with the DJ and says she never feels like partying when she is with Samantha.
Lindsay, who refuses to comment on speculation Samantha is her lover, said: “She’s an amazing friend. I can have a great time just having a quiet meal with her. I feel like I don’t need anything else.”
Lindsay and Samantha – who embraced each other when the DJ visited the actress on the set of her new movie ‘Labor Pains’ – spent an evening with British singer Lily Allen on Monday night. The ‘Smile’ singer is in the US to finish work on her second album and the trio dined together at Los Angeles restaurant Il Sole.
Lily – who knows Samantha after working with her producer brother Mark Ronson – said: “I came back to the hotel about seven and went straight to dinner with my number one fan. We went to this place called Il Sole, the food was amazing. I love truffles big time and they didn’t disappoint. Samantha brought along a rather famous friend – and about 50 million paparazzi.”
Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin are very happy together, says the actress’ mother.
Blythe Danner has dismissed reports the couple are going through a bad patch, and says they are still very much in love.
Blythe said: “I’ve never seen two happier parents and people. Happy, happy people. I don’t get it.”
Blythe also quashed rumours Gwyneth is planning to quit Hollywood and focus on raising the couple’s two children, three-year-old daughter Apple and one-year-old son Moses.
The ‘Meet the Parents’ star said: “People are saying Gwyneth isn’t going to go back to work, which is a lot of BS too. She very much wants to go back to work. She’s a great, wonderful actress. But motherhood is very important to her, as it was to me, and she’s finding the balance. And it’s hard to find that balance.”
The couple have been spending a lot of time apart recently as Chris has been holed up in different recording studios working on the new Coldplay album ‘Viva La Vida’, while Gwyneth was busy filming new movie ‘Iron Man’.
