It seems that after nailing that big Avatar soundtrack, Leona Lewis has big plans for the future: a collaboration with Kings of Leon and Robbie Williams. This sounds more like an alliance than a simple get together and sing a bit thing. Here’s what a source said about Leona Lewis’ new intentions: “Leona is incredibly proactive. She knows exactly what she wants and where she’s heading and is thrilled with these developments. She loves Robbie and thinks he’s a real laugh – and the love-in is mutual. They’re just going to go in the studio and see what comes out.” Maybe a few kids will come out of the studio if they’re so mutually in love with each other. Then Kings of Leon can recruit them as roadies and groupies and the circle will be complete and everybody wins!
Kings of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill pops, sprays and chugs champagne in the January 2010 issue of Spin Magazine, which has also named Kings of Leon Band of the Year. When asked about achieving the level of fame that they have, Caleb shared “We definitely got bigger than we wanted to be. You feel like you’ve done something wrong. That woman in mom jeans who’d never let me date her daughter? She likes my music. That’s f—ing not cool. You almost start doing damage control: When people ask you to do stuff, you’re like, ‘No, because I can already tell this record is going to get to a level where people will f—ing hate us.’” That’s definitely a different way to look at it.
