Kerry Katona: Don’t leave me!

Kerry Katona: Don’t leave me!
(That’s a plea to the Nanny not Mark)

Cash strapped Kerry Katona knew just what to do when both her husband Mark AND her nanny threatened to walk out last week.

She made damned sure she kept the Nanny — with a 50 per cent pay rise she can’t afford to look after the four kids she can’t cope with.

A pal revealed: “It made no sense—but when Kerry has problems she just throws money at them and hopes they will vanish And that infuriated Mark so much this time he stormed off for a couple of days.”

The latest drama in 27-year-old Kerry’s crazy world unfolded when her nanny Gemma got so fed up with the star’s chaotic lifestyle she walked out on her last week.

The shocked drama queen—on the verge of bankruptcy—desperately offered $52,000-a-year Gemma an astonishing extra $26,000 on her salary to stay.

“She called her begging her to go back and offered her a pay rise that she couldn’t turn down,” said the pal. “Kerry just finds it a struggle with four kids on her own.”

But it caused such a a blazing row with husband Mark Croft, 38, that he stormed off to a hotel for two nights with their youngest child, Maxwell, four months.

“Mark really was at the end of his tether,” said the pal. “It’s not like him to go and leave her and it shows how serious he was about this. But Kerry persuaded him to come home.”

The friend said Mark has told her she needs to focus on looking after Molly, six, Lilly Sue, five, Heidi, 18 months, and Maxwell instead of relying on helpers.

Kerry’s splashout on the nanny comes just weeks after she was considering taking equity out of her posh $2.6 million home to settle an unpaid VAT bill of $214,000.

Her lawyers pleaded with a bankruptcy court for leniency because Kerry was waiting for a payment of just under $1,000,000 and she was given until the end of next month to find the cash. Meanwhile the pal says she’s determined to get her marriage back on track.

She has asked Gemma and Mark’s brother Stuart to take the kids away for a few days next weekend so she can spend some time with her husband.

Her pal added: “She knows she needs to get her act together and focus on being a good mum and a good wife and she’s terrified of losing him.”

‘Kerry Katona is an embarrassment’

kerry.jpg

Brian McFadden has slammed ex-wife Kerry Katona as “a disgusting human being” for using their two daughters as “a weapon”.

The former Westlife singer was furious after she blamed the stress of the girls’ late return from a trip to visit him in Australia for the premature arrival of son Max.

Brian fumed: “Kerry is a disgusting human being. She manipulates people and plays the sympathy card for every stupid mistake she makes. Me and my family have been put through hell by her stupid games. She is an embarrassment.”

Kerry has two children with Brian – Molly, six, and Lilly-Sue, five – and two with new husband Mark Croft – Heidi, one, and newborn Max.

However, throughout her most recent pregnancy, the papers reported that Kerry took cocaine, drank and smoked 20 cigarettes a day.

And Brian – who is now engaged to Aussie pop princess Delta Goodrem – claims that he’s terrified his daughters will see that wild lifestyle as the norm.

He said: “We put the girls into as much of a routine as possible. But it breaks out heart when the kids quote back stuff they’ve heard from Kerry. ‘Mummy has to go to the Priory because she’s not feeling well’ – things like that.”

Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona’s house was raided by armed robbers on Sunday night . Katona and her family were locked in a room of her Cheshire home while the raiders ransacked the property. They broke into the $3 million house just before midnight, reports BBC News.Three masked men carrying a knife, sledgehammers, and crowbars broke into the home that Katona shares with husband Mark Croft in Wilmslow, England.

They kept her and their baby Heidi downstairs as they took Croft around the house looking for things to steal. Croft was later taken to join them and all were secured in the room while the robbers made their escape at about 12:30am British time.

Detectives said that the gang escaped with goods worth about $300,000 including two laptops, two gaming machines, and two televisions.

Cheshire police said the family had been left shaken but unharmed.

Katona’s publicist Max Clifford said she was in a “terrible state.”

He explained: “When I spoke to her this morning she was in floods of tears and absolutely distraught. It was a terrifying experience. Luckily they weren’t hurt, but Kerry was held at knifepoint and the robbers threatened to kill them…Kerry and Mark managed to raise the alarm afterwards, although the men had taken their mobile phones.”

Katona and her husband are yet to be interviewed by police officers, a force spokesman said. He said that it was not possible to say how the property had been broken into until formal statements had been taken.

Three CCTV cameras could be seen at the front of the house, but there were not visible signs of any break-in.
