Katie Holmes has rubbished reports that she is set to appear as a guest star on Glee.
Rumours surfaced over the weekend that the Dawson’s Creek actress was in talks over a deal to appear in five episodes of the hit US TV show.
But her rep told Zap2It.com that while she does take regular dance lessons with friend, So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Tyce Diorio, and she is able to hold a note, she will not be appearing on the set of William McKinley High School in the next series.
It has previously been reported that Holmes and Glee star Dianna Agron plan to work together on upcoming film The Romantics.
Katie Holmes marvelled at her daughter Suri’s growing up – fast.
“She’s doing really well. She’s growing up really, really fast,” Holmes said during a brief appearance at a party at the Chateau Marmont with her husband, Tom Cruise.
Holmes said her daughter talks at a rate of knots and is spectacular. “She is magical.”
Suri, 3, has been eating up the cameras during spells in Melbourne, Australia and Boston, Massachusetts while her high-flying actor parents complete their respective film projects.
Holmes said she and Cruise have travelled of late, making it “great to be out”. Holmes appeared in a chic, cutting-edge outfit, while Tom wore jeans in photos that surfaced. The discreet pair turned up to support friends that included Ben Stiller, Shirley MacLaine, Chace Crawford, Ashley Olsen, Jared Leto, Adam Lambert, Lindsay Lohan and Woody Harrelson.
Katie Holmes has treated her co-star Bailee Madison, nine, to a trip to the theatre to help them become friends.
The pair are currently in Melbourne, Australia, making the horror flick Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark with Aussie actor Guy Pearce.
The star took Bailee to see a matinee performance of the musical Wicked as a special treat.
Katie, who is also looking after daughter Suri, three, while her husband Tom travels with his Australian friend James Packer, plays Bailee’s mom in the film.
A source on set said: “Katie has taken Bailee under her wing. She knows what it’s like to be young and to be working on a film set so she’s been looking after Bailee as best she can.
“The trip to the theatre was a special treat. They sneaked in a back way so that they wouldn’t be noticed. They had a wonderful time. The pair get on well, and Bailee is looking forward to meeting Suri.”
The pair have been going though readings of the movie at the film set in Melbourne for the past couple of weeks. Shooting is expected to move out on location in the coming days.

The Mission Impossible actor snuck his three year old Suri in the back door of a Melbourne theater to catch a matinee of the show he loves.
Katie Holmes, meanwhile, followed behind in a long, white coat looking serious but broke into a slight shy smile just before going inside.
Suri looked gorgeous in a red sequined dress and black jacket as her dad carried her inside. Audience member Susan told Australia’s Morning Show comperes that she sat right behind the family through the performance and there was ‘not a peep out of Suri’.
She said after interval at the Princess Theatre, Suri had a box of chocolate covered malt flavoured balls, Maltesers.
Holmes was wearing black pants and a tiny top that showed her midriff under her coat, Susan said, noting: “It must have been freezing.”
The trio then went backstage after the show to chat with crew and cast.

Joseph Jeffrey Fretti – the husband of Katie Holmes’ eldest sister, Tamera – died suddenly at the Sarasota, Florida, home of his mother Shirley on Easter Sunday.
While the exact cause of Fretti’s death will take weeks to be determined, the Sarasota medical examiner has confirmed to RadarOnline.com that there were “no obvious signs of foul play”.
Dr Russell Vega added: “There was no sufficient evidence to determine the cause of the death. We are going to do tissue tests, blood test and toxicology tests.”
A funeral mass for Fretti is expected to be held at Gesu Church in his home town of Toledo, Ohio, on Monday.
Holmes, who was out in Los Angeles on Wednesday night for her pal Victoria Beckham’s birthday party, is expected to attend the service.
It is not known if her husband, Tom Cruise, will attend.
Actress Katie Holmes’s brother-in-law has died suddenly, US reports say.
Joseph Jeffrey Fretti, 48, was found dead by a family friend on Sunday while visiting his mother in Sarasota, Florida.
He was married to Holmes’s oldest sister, Tamera, 41.
Sarasota medical examiner Russell Vega told celebrity website RadarOnline a cause of death has yet to be determined, but he does not suspect foul play or suicide.
Tamera Fretti is not believed to have been with her husband on the trip to Florida but he had taken their two young children.
She is understood to have flown to Florida to bring the children home to Toledo, Ohio, where
Fretti owned a funeral home.
A funeral mass for him is set to be held in Toledo on Monday, with Holmes expected to attend, according to RadarOnline.
It is not known if Holmes’s husband, Tom Cruise, will also attend.
