It seems that the passing of her brother Michael Jackson has made Janet Jackson realize that she needs to make some changes in her life… and this led her to share with us her wonderful movie ambitions. This is what Janet Jackson said about acting: “There was a time when I met with the Wachowski brothers to do ‘The Matrix,’ a long time ago but there were scheduling conflicts. I want to kick somebody’s ass. Anybody’s, as long as I get to kick somebody’s ass. Kick a new hole in their butt. Rip ‘em a new butthole, I’d love to do that.” Looks like somebody has a bit of misplaced rage to go around… woe unto the poor action hero who gets to star with Janet Jackson in her first ass-kicking scene.
Law enforcement sources say that the guy who threatened to kill Michael Jackson was obsessed with the King of Pop’s sister Janet Jackson and even believed himself to be married to the singer. A source even said that the same guy also made threats to kill Janet and even showed up at the Jackson family home in Encino. In his rambling letters, the man, Frank Paul Jones, said “The situation … is centered around her confused sexuality.” He goes on to say that if she does not overcome her issue over sexuality, “I’m gonna try to kill every homosexual on the face of the earth. If I can’t save my wife, they can’t be saved.”
It looks like Michael Jackson’s sister still has her regrets about the family not being able to intervene with the late pop star’s substance abuse. This is what Janet Jackson said on the matter: “Those are the things you do when you love someone. You can’t just let them continue on that way. And we did a few times but we weren’t very successful.” Well, given the fact that the head of the family is Joe Jackson, there really isn’t any surprise there. How come none of the others too better initiative? But of course there is nothing to do now but live with the regret… and soak up all of the publicity!
The American Music Awards announced via their official Twitter and a TV spot that Janet Jackson will be opening the whole she-bang with an 8-minute medley. The singer has her new greatest hits CD ‘Number Ones’ coming out this coming Tuesday and the AMAs will be airing on November 22 at 8PM on ABC. I cannot wait to see her performance. The last performance that we all saw her in was her tribute to her late brother, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. I wonder if there’s going to be an element in her AMAs performance dedicated to Michael.
After both of their moving tributes for Michael Jackson at the MTV Video Music Awards, sources are saying that Madonna and Janet Jackson are planning to do something big in honor of the King of Pop. The singers enjoyed dinner together after the show and allegedly started to make plans for a collaboration. The insider revealed “It was a meeting of two great musical minds. Madonna was so impressed with Janet’s tribute to Michael that they started talking about how great it would be to honour him by doing something together…There was definitely something very interesting being planned between them.”
Rumors have been going around that Janet Jackson is pregnant and according to Life & Style, the singer has reportedly been telling her friends “Yes, I’m pregnant.” The captions from the cover of the issue of the magazine which reports on the pregnancy reads “Her dream’s finally coming true, but Janet’s scared about becoming a mom at 42. She’s overjoyed, but will a baby stop the fighting between her and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri?” However, Jermaine has recently gone on the record and told Us Weekly that his lady is not pregnant. So what’s the real deal here? Is she or isn’t she pregnant?
Celine Dion has been forced to postpone several of her North American show on her Taking Chances World Tour. The diva is said to be suffering from a respiratory virus. Just earlier this month, she already had to cancel shows in Minneapolis, Indianapolis and Chicago. Fortunately for Celine fans, the concerts have been rescheduled to December, January and February. That’s the way to do it! It’s a good thing she didn’t go the Janet Jackson way and just cancel the shows altogether. As for the diva, her tour promoter, AEG Live, has announced that she is recuperating from a recurrent naso-pharyngeal infection that was further complicated by inflamed vocal cords.
Janet Jackson is a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actress. She might be late on the trails of those before her but the multi-talented diva is now going to add designer to her resume. Janet is set to launch her own clothing line, starting with lingerie. She just confirmed the news last week while attending a show at Milan Fashion Week in Italy. The line will reportedly be out before the end of the year. Let’s just hope that none of her bras would be causing any wardrobe malfunctions. I doubt we can all blame Justin Timberlake if that happens.
