Justin Timberlake has teamed up with Givenchy to create his new fragrance called ‘Play’. When he was initially approached by Givenchy, the singer/actor actually declined saying that he didn’t wear much cologne. Justin said “I think, honestly they took it as a challenge to create something that I would really want to wear.” That was when the fashion house thought him the ropes of fragrances. Justin says that they have come up with a scent that is youthful, fun and sensual. His new fragrance is already available now at Macy’s and Sephora. He’s doing so many things and all I can think about is when he’ll start singing again.
Anna, 27, is currently starring in HBO vampire series True Blood as Sookie Stackhouse and she revealed she was treated differently when she dyed her hair blonde for the role.
She said: “I really didn’t think people would[treat her any different], but people stare at blonde girls. I also discovered my hair grows really fast.
“As I have natural dark hair, even the tiniest bit of roots shows up. I am not really a big fan of sitting still for the hairdresser once every 10 days for a couple of hours. It makes me feel really vain and nutty.”
Angelina Jolie angered animal lovers when she appeared on the set of her new movie wearing a fur-trimmed cape along with what looked to be a matching chinchilla-trimmed Russian hat.
The photos of Jolie, a UN Goodwill Ambassador, on the set of Salt in New York wearing clothes supposedly made from furry little creatures made animal rights organisation PETA angry.
But the film’s publicists have now confirmed that the outfit the actress was wearing was, in fact, fake fur.
PETA wrote on its website: “Yes, Angelina Jolie was spotted wearing what appeared to be a chinchilla-trimmed hat and cape on the set of her latest movie. But our LA staffers – knowing that Angelina is a long-time fur foe – were on it, and they’ve received word from the film’s publicist that [phew!] the chinchilla is actually synchilla.”
Remember how this past weekend, Jessica Simpson went out to have dinner with her boyfriend Tony Romo, sister Ashlee and dad Joe? I mean, how could you forget all that orange anyway? Orange dress, orange lips, orange skin – it’s scary really. But if you actually stuck around until after they left, I bet you would have wondered exactly what they served over dinner because I doubt a change in hair style is in the menu. When the failed country singer went in, her hair was down and frizzy. She comes out and it’s up in braids. Did her hairstylist best friend Ken Paves join them in the middle of the meal?
Jessica Simpson recently talked about what she will be adding to her new fashion line. The 28-year old wannabe country singer shared that “We are doing coats for kids. Already right now we are connected with Stride Rite shoes for kids. Now we are getting into coats, but I am anxious for the luggage. I am always traveling so I can’t wait to put my Louis Vuitton stuff aside and actually rock some Jessica Simpson going through airport.” One, I find it disturbing that she’s doing clothes for kids. Two, I can’t believe that she’s so delusional to think that her name brand will be as good as LV.
Fergie has recently released an affordable shoe collection. Perhaps the reason for the pricing is the fact that she doesn’t want other women to suffer from being in debt apart from being a shoe addict like she is. Fergie admitted that she owns over 500 pairs of heels, flats and pumps. The singer told Life & Style that “I’m a girl, and I love accessories. It’s one of the reasons I have huge closets, and we keep making room in the house for more closets. I don’t like to throw anything away.” I bet that the biggest room in their house isn’t the master bedroom but Fergie’s closet.
The singer received this most honorific title from the animal rights organization PETA who are also quoted as saying the following about Madonna’s clothing choices: “When you see Madonna in fur, you realize why nobody has copied her style since 1984. We know she’s on the prowl for a young cur, but someone needs to tell Madonna that wearing fur doesn’t make you a cougar.” I like PETA’s choice of words, even though I doubt that Madonna is really looking for a young cur… she’d probably have no use for such a thing. It’s the big, old mammoths she’s probably interested in now.
By now, none of us should be no stranger to Lady Gaga’s outrageous fashion choices. Nice hair bow. However, I’m not completely sure about the shade of lavender that the singer was seen sporting as she left Koko Nightclub in London this past Wednesday. And I’m not completely sure that it’s lipstick either. Maybe it’s hypothermia! It’s freezing cold in London and she still goes out in barely there clothing. She’s bound to get cold some time. And being too cold can lead to hypothermia. Someone should really get her a coat. I’m sure they can find something fierce and outrageous for her to wear.
The fashion designer recently talked about how she thinks dresses should be. Here are some of Victoria Beckham words: “I wanted a zip that undoes from both ends because then you can either put the dress on over your head or step into it – and also, you know, going to the loo wouldn’t be this whole big problem.” I can see the practical part in this… but it still sounds very, very weird. But Britney would probably jump at this one in a minute if the stories about how she gets along with her digestive system are true.
Diddy knows that he’s going to have a lot of raised eyebrows directed at him by calling his latest men’s fragrance I Am King but he doesn’t care. If you had industry sources estimating that the new scent will bring in $100 million for you, will you care? Diddy says “I Am King is a statement about all men. We are all descendents of royalty — and if we carry ourselves and respect ourselves in that manner and believe in ourselves, then we are all kings…It has nothing to do with being arrogant. I Am King is not a statement about myself — I Am King is about every man who is going to go and buy the fragrance.” The fragrance is coming out as a Macy’ exclusive in December and will be out for wide distribution by February. And for the ladies, I Am Queen will be out in Fall 2009.
Janet Jackson is a singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer and actress. She might be late on the trails of those before her but the multi-talented diva is now going to add designer to her resume. Janet is set to launch her own clothing line, starting with lingerie. She just confirmed the news last week while attending a show at Milan Fashion Week in Italy. The line will reportedly be out before the end of the year. Let’s just hope that none of her bras would be causing any wardrobe malfunctions. I doubt we can all blame Justin Timberlake if that happens.

The troubled singer has been approached by top British designer Julien Macdonald to appear in his show at the prestigious event in September.
He said: ‘Amy has great style and she’s an amazing talent, isn’t she? She’s unique.’
However, many fashion critics are worried her scruffy look may inspire a new high-street trend.
A source said: ‘It’s unbelievable – when you see her she is such a mess. She’s always roaming the streets in ripped clothes, like she’s thrown things on, and not on purpose.
‘She goes for a rework of the 50s look, but when she’s out of it, she looks terrible. There’s nothing chic about walking around drunk and screaming in public.’
In February, it was reported Amy was offered $1.00,000 for a one-off performance by French fashion house Louis Vuitton to appear at their show during Paris Fashion Week.

Eva Mendes has agreed to be the newest celebrity spokesperson for PETA, posing for their “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign.Previous models include Alicia Silverstone, Christina Applegate, Christy Turlington, and Pamela Anderson. Eva will strip down in opposition of fur.
Eva says she wore fur once – to her very first movie premiere. Her stylist sent it, and she says she “ignorantly wore it.”
After that she received from PETA a “beautiful letter to comment on my less-than-educated choice. I was so impressed that I vowed to them and myself to never wear real fur…again.”

Stunning super model Kate Moss has shocked friends when she allegedly begged for drugs at a recent party. At 30th Birthday Party for Davinia Taylor, it has been said that the model repeatedly asked the DJ, Elliot Eastwick, for various drugs including cocaine, poppers and cannabis.
Elliot said to press, “She grabbed my lower arm, pulled me towards her and yelled, ‘Who’s got the drugs?’ I told her I didn’t know and didn’t have any but she said, ‘I want some gear. You’re a DJ, you must have some.’
“She was tapping on a record sleeve in the motion of someone racking up lines of coke. It was obvious what she was after. I remember thinking, ‘God, Kate Moss just asked me for cocaine.’
The mother-of-one was previously exposed as a drug user two years ago when she was pictured snorting a substance that appeared to be cocaine; but went on to revive her modelling career.

Paris Hilton spent her Thanksgiving in a quite un-American way, touring Shanghai, China, for the MTV Style Awards.
She spent a great deal of time shopping along the Bund waterfront, even taking a break to try on several dresses by Chinese designer Lu Kun, who is one of Shanghai’s hottest fashion designers.
At one point, Paris stopped for a press conference in front of the Hyatt on the waterfront, one of Shanghai’s newest landmarks. She said, “Shanghai looks like the future!”
Another highlight of her trip was a stop at Yu Yuan Garden where she sampled Shanghai’s steam buns and flower tea.

A very pregnant Christina Aguilera made her way out to Robertson Blvd last night for the Rock the Vote event at the launch of Kitson Men. Christina’s always been one to love her makeup, and being a fellow makeup junkie myself, it’s hard to criticize. It actually seems she’s wearing MORE makeup during her pregnancy, which is typical for some women when they start to feel less confident about their bodies (like me when I was preggers). That being said, she is definitely a natural beauty, and the few times I’ve seen her with very little paint on, I was floored at how gorgeous she naturally was. Unfortunately, most of us self-critical-minded women, can’t see ourselves as others see us without first filtering our image through our critical minds. OK, so just call me a Christina fan who regardless of how she looks, loves her for her amazing talent.
