That’s probably going to be a big sting on his revealing confessions. It seems that even though Adam Lambert’s performance was cancelled and replaced with an exclusive interview with Chris Brown about the events of February, the rapper will not be blowing anybody away with his singing… not that he has many thrilled fans lately, to be honest. Under these circumstances, Chris Brown might even call off the interview… after all, what’s a good sob story without some music to really start the tears. Maybe it’s better this way… no one would want the show to be called “Good Mourning America”.
Rihanna is going to debut her music video for her single ‘Russian Roulette’ on 20/20 tonight while Chris Brown will be doing the same with his music video for ‘Crawl’ on the Wendy Williams Show. The two singers and former lovers both have spots on the Billboard Top 100 at the moment with the Barbadian babe’s collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West ‘Run this Town’ at number 7, and R&B douche at number 24 with ‘I Can Transform Ya’. Some people aren’t surprised that fans are still buying Chris’ albums, with one psychologist saying “His fans will keep buying his albums because they want to feel like they are helping him. Supporting him through this tough time makes fans feel like they are a part of Brown’s inner circle.”
It has been revealed that after her performance on Good Morning America, scheduled for Thursday, Rihanna will finally be telling her side of the story in regards to what happened with Chris Brown. And bear in mind… she’s still wearing her eye patch. But still, hasn’t Rihanna told this story before somewhere else… like, for instance, in court? Or was that too early a time for her to release it to the public and, now that she’s over it all, she can finally talk about it. Well, it’s good Rihanna decided to give everybody the heads up, now the whole viewing community can boil in anticipation until the faithful day finally arrives.
I’m a little bothered by one of Chris Brown’s recent postings on Twitter to talk about his little broken heart and to pretty much admit that he misses Rihanna and wants her back. First, the R&B singer posted his song called ‘Changed Man’ next to the phrase “sorry yall, just one of those days”. After that, Chris tweets “MY HEART IS INCOMPLETE… the part that is complete is my love for fans, career, friends, family.. god. but im missing someone or somthing.” I don’t think there will be a lot of people who will be understanding if they got back together.
TV cameras have been banned from capturing superstar Rihanna’s much-anticipated testimony at ex-boyfriend Chris Brown’s assault trail.
The Barbadian singer is expected to take to the stand during a preliminary hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court.
And although reporters will be allowed inside to hear the proceedings, the doors will stay firmly closed to cameras.
Los Angeles Criminal Court Judge Patricia Schnegg decided against allowing the showdown to be broadcast to the world.
Brown, 20, faces two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats against Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party in February.
However, if he reaches a plea agreement, the hearing would be unnecessary. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, has previously indicated he hoped to resolve the case without public testimony.
If it goes ahead, Rihanna – real name Robyn Fenty – could later be called as a witness in the high-profile trial.
The singer has supposedly been having trouble concentrating on getting his new album done. Tyrese Gibson, a singer who his close to Chris Brown had the following to say about what the rapper has been going through: “Although he appears to be really strong through all of this, it’s really taking a toll on his spirit. People like me and Diddy are just trying to show him love and keep his spirits up while he’s going through all of the heat, and there are a lot people doing the same for Rihanna. I’m not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up on stage with a lot of people looking at us.” Chris Brown must be exaggerating. Who wouldn’t be able to record a new album after maiming their girlfriend like a wild bear and being part of a scandal that can very well shatter any of their hopes for the future? And besides, it’s not like Chris Brown has to command an entire symphonic orchestra for his latest work.
Reports are saying that a three-page text message on Chris Brown’s cell phone from manager Tina Davis was what left Rihanna battered and bruised. The almost 40-year old manager is rumored to have had a relationship when he was only 16 and that she sent him a message asking for a booty call. Rihanna found out about it and slapped and hit Chris. That was when Chris retaliated and we all know what happened to Rihanna’s face after that. Why anyone would trade Rihanna for a 40-year old booty call, I have no idea. I guess Chris is more screwed up in the head than I previously thought.
In the end it seems that the singer did get the blame for what happened between him and Rihanna as he was recently charged with assault. If Chris Brown will be convicted, he may receive up to four years and eight months of prison. As for Rihanna, her lawyer had this to say about her state of mind following Chris Brown being charged with assault: “She’s doing great. She is making sure her rights are being protected at every stage of the proceedings. She did not feel a stay-away order was necessary.” It’s all just a dang shame… I was still hoping that the tables would turn and it would turn out that Rihanna was indeed the attacker, but I guess that was just a tad unrealistic.
The singer who reportedly beat-up his former girlfriend Rihanna and is charged with criminal intentions, will be pleading self-defense in the case. A source had this to say about Chris Brown’s legal intentions: “Chris is already building his case. He’s saying she threw a phone at him, then hit him in the head and basically just lost it. He’s saying she attacked him.” That’s Chris Brown’s case? She threw a phone at him and hit him in the head? Even though Rihanna has been rumored to have a wild temper herself, how much can that hold? But then again, if you think about it, she is older than him. Maybe it is indeed possible.
Chris Brown is in dire straits and he is struggling with the juggling he has been made to do post his hipped fight with former girlfriend Rihanna. In an attempt to save his career from being ruined the R&B singer has hired the representative of Hollywood actor Mel Gibson hoping that he stop the damage already done from extending.
Chris is facing a possible jail term after being charged by the Los Angeles Police Department with making criminal threats to his former girlfriend singer Rihanna in the wee hours of the morning on February 8th.
Firstly this is certain not his decision cos it he were that smart then he wouldn’t have smacked his girlfriend in the face and stay there to be caught by the police but whoever has suggested Mel’s rep to Chris knows that Mel lives a dignified life free of alcohol to the extent he does not misbehave.
But now that he has committed a crime he cannot expect someone to salvage his reputation by saying he look he’s done something wrong and he repents for his actions now give him a break kinda stuff. The law will take its own legal action.
Jessica Simpson has not been too open although she has not denied her involvement in a past relationship which subjected her to domestic abuse. Lately though, Simpson one again issued a plea to women victims of domestic violence to leave their partners and build new lives. Simpson hit the headlines recently for her controversial weight gain but she has put the issue behind and talked instead about an issue that involves thousands of women worldwide. Simpson’s latest album includes a self-penned song “Remember That” which talks about her own experience with domestic violence.
She already hinted before that she suffered from the abusive ways of a former lover and she broached the subject once again during a performance Thursday night at the New York Madison Square Garden. Simpson said she recorded “Remember That” to tell women that there is life and love after running away from an abusive relationship. This revelation came at an appropriate time considering the latest domestic violence involving Chris Brown and Rihanna.
