It seems the singer was pretty scared about the possibility of having more than one child with her boyfriend Kris Smith… but the medical inquiries show that Danii Minogue need not worry about that. This is what Danii Minogue said on the matter: “I don’t know if we’ll find out what we’re having, we haven’t had a chance to think. We know it’s not twins – the doctor said this morning that there’s only one in there and Kris and I both sighed with relief! I’m so tiny, I’m not big enough to fit twins in there – I wouldn’t be able to stand up!” Oh, p’shaw… how would the human species have survived for so long if the loins of our females were so constrictive? Danii Minogue could probably grow a whole brood in there an still be able to walk around unscathed. She need not underestimate the power of human anatomy.
There’s no question that Courtney Love is insane especially after she’s decided that she actually wants to sue the temporary guardians of her daughter Frances Bean. The washed up rock singer took to her Twitter to give her skewed reasoning behind the threat of a lawsuit saying “this shit with the bean needs to be exposed for what it is right fucking NOW enough. they squeesed my bank accounts so that they were frozen because they know im going to sue the holy shit out of them and now are … crocodiling my kid whose better than this seriously she was raised too well to be bought. im severely lonely without my best friend and no am not on drugs BTW.”
Katie Holmes marvelled at her daughter Suri’s growing up – fast.
“She’s doing really well. She’s growing up really, really fast,” Holmes said during a brief appearance at a party at the Chateau Marmont with her husband, Tom Cruise.
Holmes said her daughter talks at a rate of knots and is spectacular. “She is magical.”
Suri, 3, has been eating up the cameras during spells in Melbourne, Australia and Boston, Massachusetts while her high-flying actor parents complete their respective film projects.
Holmes said she and Cruise have travelled of late, making it “great to be out”. Holmes appeared in a chic, cutting-edge outfit, while Tom wore jeans in photos that surfaced. The discreet pair turned up to support friends that included Ben Stiller, Shirley MacLaine, Chace Crawford, Ashley Olsen, Jared Leto, Adam Lambert, Lindsay Lohan and Woody Harrelson.
It seems that after he got to have his own child with Heidi Klum and raises three more children with her, Seal has decided that this is about as much as he can handle child-wise. This is what Seal related on the matter: “I found myself thinking, before she was born, ‘We’ve got three kids, how am I going to find anymore love to give another kid?’ And we were like, ‘Oh, it’s fine – we’ve done this three times, we’re sure it’ll be fine.’ Then, of course, she turned up and the first time I held her up in my arms at the hospital, she looked up at me with this frown – which she definitely got from me – with a look on her face as if to say, ‘Oh my God, I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that’s my father!’ I just fell in love at that point. But four is definitely enough.” A wise decision on Seal’s behalf… it’s always good to know when to say “enough is too much!” Not like some other rapidly growing broods out there.
Actor Brad Pitt has spent $100,000 building a new run for his children’s gerbils.
The father-of-six, 45, loves architecture and oversaw the project – which includes a maze of tunnels, seesaws and platforms for the gerbils – at the home he shares with Angelina Jolie, in France.
A source said: “Brad pores over architectural journals like other people pore over newspapers. He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax.
“it’s incredibly complex and cost a lot, but Brad’s more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions – his kids and architecture.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly bought gerbils for their two oldest sons Pax and Maddox.
Brad, 45, and Angelina, 34, reportedly arrived at their chateau in France and later took their sons Maddox, eight, and Pax, five, to a local pet store where they bought gerbils and goldfish.
It is claimed they visited the Jardinerie du Centre Var store in Brignoles, France, and Angelina reached in to pet the gerbils while partner Brad looked around the store.
They then bought a cage and equipment for the new pets and bought their son Maddox a cactus.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise took his family along to catch a performance of the hit musical Jersey Boys.
The Mission Impossible actor snuck his three year old Suri in the back door of a Melbourne theater to catch a matinee of the show he loves.
Katie Holmes, meanwhile, followed behind in a long, white coat looking serious but broke into a slight shy smile just before going inside.
Suri looked gorgeous in a red sequined dress and black jacket as her dad carried her inside. Audience member Susan told Australia’s Morning Show comperes that she sat right behind the family through the performance and there was ‘not a peep out of Suri’.
She said after interval at the Princess Theatre, Suri had a box of chocolate covered malt flavoured balls, Maltesers.
Holmes was wearing black pants and a tiny top that showed her midriff under her coat, Susan said, noting: “It must have been freezing.”
The trio then went backstage after the show to chat with crew and cast.
Late pop legend Michael Jackson requested in his will that his mother Katherine be made guardian of his three children – and nominated fellow music icon, Diana Ross, as his second choice to take care of them.
The Thriller superstar wanted diva Diana to look after Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, seven, if Katherine died before him or could not serve as their guardian.
His will – filed on Wednesday with a Los Angeles court – states: “If any of my children are minors at the time of my death, I nominate my mother Katherine Jackson as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children.
“If Katherine Jackson fails to survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children.”
The five-page will leaves everything to the Michael Jackson Family Trust.
Details of the trust are confidential, but it is understood to provide for Jackson’s children and mother. Money from his estate will also be distributed among several charities.
The will does not specifically exclude Jackson’s father Joe, as had been rumoured.
A petition filed along with the will says Jackson’s estate is worth more than $500million.
Jackson also named his lawyer John Branca, music executive John McClain, and the star’s accountant Barry Siegel as executors of his will.
Siegel resigned from his role as executor in 2003.
The pre-school attended by Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter is trying to ban the paparazzi from its gates.
The First Presbyterian Nursery School in Santa Monica, California has become a popular target for photographers ever since Violet, three, became a student there.
Parents and teachers claim the paparazzi are robbing kids of a peaceful arrival and some worried parents claim they’ve been physically and verbally abused by the snappers, with one alleging her four-year-old was almost run over by a ruthless pap.
Santa Monica City Council member, Richard Bloom, is now leading a movement to create school buffer zones, where the paparazzi cannot stand.
Bloom, an attorney, told the Los Angeles Times: “If this were an isolated thing that had happened once or twice, I wouldn’t be spending my time on it.”
The councillor reveals he has spoken with Garner and Affleck about their concerns for little Violet: “They expressed to me that they understand this is a part of their lives that they have to accept, but it’s not something that other people should have to experience.”
Actress Andie MacDowell doesn’t believe women should always be the ones to give up their career and bring up children.
MacDowell, 51, is married to former model Paul Qualley and they have three children – Justin, Rainey and Sarah-Margaret. MacDowell admits she was the main breadwinner when her children were growing up.
Asked if she felt guilty about being a working mother, she said: "I think there’s always guilt, but I was always the breadwinner, so why was society torturing me? Why does it keep trying to put the burden of childcare on the woman?
"I think that if the woman is making more money, then what’s wrong with the man nurturing a child and taking what has traditionally been a woman’s role – and feel good about doing it?"
She added: "There are still stereotypes which are unjust and unrealistic because society has changed so much. At the same time, if you do have a man willing to take care of you, it’s a great choice to stay home and look after your children. But I don’t think your children have to turn out to be derelicts or bad people if you have to work.
Actress Natascha McElhone has spoken out about the death of her husband and how she gave birth to their third son alone.
Natascha, 37, was four months pregnant with her third child when her husband Martin Kelly died suddenly of a heart condition. They have two older sons Theo, now eight, and Otis, five.
She gave birth to son Rex in October last year, just five months after Martin’s death, and chose to give birth alone. She said: “It just felt right somehow.”
Natascha added to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “If Martin couldn’t be there, I couldn’t replace him with someone, as that would have felt very strange. I wanted to be on my own because that was the way it was going to be.”
She added: “I was going to be my baby’s only parent so I may as well get used to it. But I was fortunate to have the most brilliant obstetrician. He knew Martin, so he was wonderful.”
Talking about her late husband, she said: “He was the most magical father you could wish for. I often used to look at him in action and think: ‘Wow! I would have loved that as a kid.’”
She added: “He had this gift for doing the unexpected and turning everything on its head, which children adore, whereas I tend to gravitate towards the safer and more obvious.”
Natascha added that she still talks about her husband with their two older sons.
She said: “We speak about him all the time. He’s very present in our lives. They don’t really ask questions, but I think kids live very much in the moment and I anticipate that, later on in their lives, they will have many.”
On May 20 it will be a year since Martin’s death and Natascha plans to remember the day as a “happy” one. She said: “It’ll be a happy occasion; a celebration of his life. Martin was such a huge man in every way and so very funny, so there is a lot to celebrate.”
Katie Price and Peter Andre’s youngest son Junior already has a way with the ladies.
On a visit to a resturant, during the family’s recent stay in the US, the three-year-old demanded their belly-dancing waitress gave him a kiss.
“I want to kiss girls on the lips,” the tot said. After puckering up no less than three times, a lipgloss-covered Junior told the camera: “I’ve got lipstick.”
Even Andre, a renowned ladies’ man before meeting wife Katie, seemed shocked at how forward his youngest son is becoming.
He said: “That kid is unbelievable, I never got to do what he’s doing, that’s too much. Three years old, kissing a belly dancer on the lips, three times.”
As expected, the family of Levi Johnston suffered the consequences of their betrayal. Instead of keeping peace with the Palins though, Levi Johnston continues to criticize the family of Sarah Palin saying they are keeping him from spending time with Tripp, his 3-month old son by Bristol Palin, the daughter of Sarah Palin. Levi Johnston earlier appeared at the Tyra Banks Show saying Sarah Palin allowed him to sleep with her daughter right in her Alaskan home.
Sherry Johnston, Levi Johnston’s mother, has joined the frayed and said the Palins do not allow them to see their grandson. Sherry Johnston said they would like to come up with a custody arrangement because Tripp deserves to know both grandmas and grandpas as well as the other family members of his father. Sherry Palin said the birth of her grandson Tripp kept her going after she was accused of possessing and selling the prescription drug OxyContin. She said she is not just waiting for her grandson but she is begging.
Good news for those awaiting for an update on the condition of one of the twin sons of Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller. Infant Max has been left in the hospital for several weeks after he failed to reached the necessary weight required before he is allowed to be released from the hospital after birth. Max is now however home with his twin brother Bob and his parents. Charlie Sheen’s representative Stan Rosenfield said the baby achieved his weight requirements and is now fine.
Brooke Mueller-Sheen gave birth to their twins on March 14 but was forced to leave Max in the hospital due to birth weight issues and not due to a heart problem as earlier reported. Charlie Sheen said the weight problem involving his son Max is a common one among infants born before they reach their full terms. The twins are the first children for Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller-Sheen and the first boys for Charlie Sheen who already has three daughters from previous relationships.
Redmond O’Neal was arrested on Sunday for possessing drugs and his stay behind the bars could just get a wee bit longer with his father actor Ryan O’Neal reportedly refused to bail him out. For Redmond O’Neal this is the second time in as many months that he has been caught in possession of drugs.
Obviously the elder O’Neal has had enough of his son’s stupid acts and wants his son to learn it the hard way that is facing the law and receiving the consequences of his actions. Though most Hollywood parents would go all the way to save their kids any embarrassments but I think they should all follow Ryan’s example.
If celebrities think that their kids deserve special treatment then that’s the only reason why almost every celebrity child is making headlines for all the wrong reasons be it Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton or Redmond they all are just known for their bad behavior and that gives publication material to fill in the pages.
Jessica Simpson recently talked about what she will be adding to her new fashion line. The 28-year old wannabe country singer shared that “We are doing coats for kids. Already right now we are connected with Stride Rite shoes for kids. Now we are getting into coats, but I am anxious for the luggage. I am always traveling so I can’t wait to put my Louis Vuitton stuff aside and actually rock some Jessica Simpson going through airport.” One, I find it disturbing that she’s doing clothes for kids. Two, I can’t believe that she’s so delusional to think that her name brand will be as good as LV.
Madonna’s attempt at a second Malawian adoption may have failed but she’s not going down without a fight. After a Malawi court ruled against the Queen of Pop’s adoption of 4-year old Mercy James last week, Madonna has put the wheels in motion for an appeal of the ruling. Madonna’s lawyer has already filed the notice of appeal regarding the ruling. The judge tried to explain her ruling last week saying “It is necessary that we look beyond the petitioner … and consider the consequences of opening the doors too wide. By removing the very safeguard that is supposed to protect our children, the courts … could actually facilitate trafficking of children by some unscrupulous individuals.”
One of the actor’s recently born twins, Max, is still in the hospital. Now the young one is supposedly still there due to heart issues, but Charile Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueler insist that it’s only a weight related problem. Charlie Sheen himself said the following about his son still being in the hospital due to being underweight: “The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term. I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food – I just didn’t realize they that started so young!” Or maybe it is the hospital food that’s actually causing all of the damage… even though the little one can’t even chew anything yet, but that’s a mere detail. It’s the hospital milk, that must be it!
Or at least not too soon, as Julia Roberts says. She stated the following in a recent interview: “My first instinct is that if my children wanted to be artists, that they wait. I would prefer that they just wait as long as they can.” A good approach, you have to admit, but Julia Roberts should know that if her children wait too long they will find themselves in the inability to fulfill their desires. It is such an interesting paradox that sometimes you never really know what you want to do and it is too late to do it when you finally find out. Will Julia Roberts be able to avoid this paradox? Find out next week or maybe in a couple of years!
Backstreet Boy Brian Littrell has put an update on his official website about the illness of his 6-year old son Baylee. His son was released from the hospital just right before Christmas and has been diagnosed with A-Typical Kawasaki Disease. The boy was originally thought to have had strep throat, hand, foot, mouth disease and erythema multiforme. He stressed the A-Typical part saying his son didn’t have the usual symptoms. “Kawasaki Disease causes inflammation in the coronary arteries as well as the walls of the small and medium sized arteries throughout the body. Unfortunately, Baylee’s coronary arteries were affected. He received an IVIG, which is a treatment to bring down the inflammation in his coronary arteries. Baylee will be closely monitored for the next 6-8 weeks by a Pediatric Cardiologist to see if the treatment was effective.”
