The “Almost Famous” star Bijou Philips managed to rescue her sister, the famous Mackenzie Phillips from the ruthless hands of police on 28 August 2008. Just one day after declining to accept her sister’s offer to bail her out, Mackenzie Phillips agreed to leave the Van Nuys Police Station, accommodating the sisterly support. On 27 August 2008, Mackenzie denied to be freed, saying that she was broke and just wanted to stay behind bars.

Bijou Phillips and her boyfriend Danny Masterson offered US$10,000 bond to free the lady. The troubled star was arrested earlier at LAX International Airport.

Friends are friends but sisters are your parents’ daughters!!! Also pray for the heartbroken babe!!!

John Mayer is truly a douche bag if he thinks that he’s above the law. The guitar man was pulled over for a traffic violation on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The 30-year old singer was driving his Land Rover without a license plate which is most likely the reason for him being pulled over. John looks so unhappy, but what does he expect? He’s driving a car without proper registration markers and information. At least he didn’t have Jennifer Aniston with him so he doesn’t have anyone nagging on him – unless you count the police officer of course.

Looks like our stars don’t mean it when they say they are “clean”. After recently reporting clues that Amy Winehouse was up to no good with the white powder; our little Lindsay Lohan has been spotted looking “out of it” at a recent party.

The Mean Girls star has just completed a two-month stay in rehab and has been attending Alcoholic Anonymous meetings.  But sources claim that, at a party on 10th Nov, “She didn’t seem to know what was going on. She couldn’t comprehend anything.”

After being convicted on a DUI charge and being sentenced to the mandatory minimum 4 days, the Freaky Friday actress served just 84 minutes. No wonder celebs these days think they are better than ‘normal’ people. I know people who have served more than that for not paying their TV license on time!
