Mike Fisher and Carrie Underwood are currently setting up shop in Ottawa, Canada where his hockey team, the Senators, is stationed. However, the city may actually end up becoming a more permanent locale for the country singer and her new hubby if he has it his way. Mike said “I love it here in Ottawa. She likes it, she knows how much I like it, and I want to stay here my whole career if possible. We’re both comfortable here. Home is where we are, so let’s make this home. There will be lots of traveling. We’ll be all over, so it’s all good.” At the rate they’re going, Carrie and Mike would start popping kids out next year.

Country cuties Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are both up for three CMT Music Awards each! The singers are actually tied for the lead in nominations with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum. Other nominees this year include Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire and Tim McGraw. The CMT Music Awards, which will be hosted by Kid Rock, will take place on June 9. Fans can vote at vote.CMT.com to help determine the winners. Who do you think will rake in the top awards? Taylor and Carrie have been battling it out for a while now. Carrie Underwood seems to be ready to fully commit to her relationship with her boyfriend Mike Fisher. Sources close to the couple say that the hockey player has asked the country singer to move in with him up in Canada and she said yes! There’s one small snag in the plan though. The American Idol alum is on the road a lot so she had to let him know that she can’t completely commit. However, a source said “She did clear out space in his closet and stocked his kitchen with her favorites!…They’re completely in love.” If that’s already gone on, I’m betting that marriage is not too far off.
It has recently been confirmed that Whitney Houston will be performing at the 2009 American Music Awards. The 46-year old singer will join other previously announced acts including Rihanna, Green Day, Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Daughtry, Keith Urban, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, The Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Adam Lambert. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – this is going to be one heck of a show! The 2009 AMAs will be broadcast live for the Nokia Theatre LA live on Sunday, November 22 at 8-11PM on ABC. Voting for the winners is still currently open.

Lately the former “American Idol” Carrie Underwood made Jessica Simpson mad by making a statement that her former boyfriend Tony Romo still calls her months after their split.
Miss Underwood recently said, “It was something that was said in passing, and I would never mean to say anything to hurt anybody or stir up anything, because I’m just not about drama…at all.”
She is also the cover girl of Elle magazine for December.
A couple of months ago, in August Underwood said that her phone rings “and it’ll be [Romo], and I’ll maybe not answer.”
The allegation was quickly denied by Jessica Simpson, with whom Tony Romo was dating at that time, saying, “I looked at his call log.”
