The actress will soon launch a cook book entitled “My Father’s Daughter” where she plans to emphasize not just on cooking itself, but also on the importance of cooking for your family. Gwyneth Paltrow had this to say about the book: “My dad was a famous pancake maker and I’m working on adapting his recipe right now. Although I’m making mine slightly healthier.” She mentions her father because apparently she got her love for cooking from him. Strange, this one is apparently not intended on cheering up Madonna, but then again, Madonna is pretty happy right about now so Gwyneth Paltrow can dedicate herself to her other hobbies.

Christina Aguilera is getting to play superheroes in her new comic book-inspired commercial for Target. It all went with her November 11 release of her new album ‘Keeps Getting Better – A Decade of Hits’. And speaking of targets, it seems that the singer is right on with Entertainment Weekly giving her album a B+. It may not be the best grade but it’s up there. They said “The singer has banished melisma and belting from these electronic confections, and her chops sound just as hot set on simmer. The real curiosity is a ‘Beautiful’ redo that imagines how John Lennon might’ve sounded if he’d lived into the age of electro.”

George Michael opened up to Entertainment Weekly recently and he spoke about why he’s decided to write a book on his life. Here’s what George had to say: “I’ve done too many stupid things for there not to be movies made about me when I’m dead, so I might as well write the script.” Talk about an ego. I’m sure there are a lot of producers and actors who would refute any of his claims. Who would want to play a dirty old man like him anyway? I’m surprised he can still fit through doors and walk straight with that big old head on his shoulders.

Please… who wrote it for her? Didn’t this women drop out of high school. We’re supposed to believe that she is a fluent writer now? Yeah so nice that she’s bringing attention to this. But how will she out do herself next year? Oh, that’s right, she’ll adopt another kid and the publicity will just never end. Does she even have the time to pick up a pen and write a small daily dairy for herself of her daily happening with the kids and her routine and the time she shares with Brad Pitt? Why Am I saying all this, well because if a person is on tour of the world almost every day, has 4 kids to take care of and the usual commitments and reportedly finding a new house how can she find the time to write to her fans mails and do all this. It is pretty much clear in my mind, that either has a time clock that allows her to work 36 hours in one day out of the possible 24 hours or then her reps having been doing all this work for her and then she puts her name on drafted document.

There is an old saying “Discretion is the better part of Valor” If she had any brains she could have maintained a low profile, allowed her publicist to do his job, and walked away from this all with the money, which incidentally is just about all she is after. But no, she gets on Dancing with the Stars, to remind all the people who hate her that she should not be forgotten, and becomes “the most hated contestant” according to the program itself who received so much bad press because she was on they apparently reassigned the persons responsible for booking her. Then she gets on GMA and makes a scene, what did she think … that people would feel sorry for her? Quite the opposite, most saw the hateful side of her that they had only heard existed from McCartneys children, and all she did was gain a larger following of people who despise her. She is an idiot, she has no education, and the only way she can communicate is like a gutter snipe from the street, which is where she came from. Do I dislike her? yes, am I without fault? definately not. But at least I am honest about that, unlike her who tries to portray herself as the poor little perfect person. Want her life story in short, check out my post in the previous news article regarding her lawsuit etc.

I think that the fact that J.K. Rowling incorporated a character that is attributed with an alternative life style is an important maneuver. It is an encamping move. And the series may once have been aimed towards children, but can one really try to hide behind the “its a children’s book” after the scenes in the past two books? I think not! The people that are reading this book at this point are teenagers and young adults, 16+. The people who actually have to be concerned with things such as sexual identity. A good example of this is say, a 16 year old male is a homosexual, but does not understand the feelings that he is having, would it not be comforting for this teen to have a familiar icon with the same preferences? This was a very good move. It has nothing to do with publicity, nothing to do with cash, well maybe a little. But primarily, it is to make the characters more human. It was great for her to reveal that one of the most powerful characters in this series leads an alternative life style. And gays are not mean, what the hell was with that comment?!? That’s just bigoted; you can’t group people together like that. That’s pre Martin Luther king Jr. Status.

Tom Cruise has broken his silence and is defending his controversial role as the German colonel famous for a failed attempt to kill Adolf Hitler.
“All I can say is, ‘Save your comments until you see the movie,’ ” Cruise, 49, tells the German weekly, Bunte, regarding the German politicians and media who have attacked his religious beliefs and his decision to play one of Germany’s greatest heroes in his new movie Valkyrie.

“I want to think positive and concentrate on the film,” the actor says in the magazine. “I carry a great responsibility to the Germans, for whom a man like [Colonel Claus Graf Schenk von] Stauffenberg means so much.”
“And I feel this responsibility to the man himself. The more I learn about him, the greater my respect and my admiration of him,” he adds about his character in the wartime thriller surrounding a failed plot by high-ranking military officers to blow up Hitler. Stauffenberg was the man who placed the bomb.
Cruise also reveals that when director Bryan Singer approached him about the role, he tossed a script on his desk with a picture of Stauffenberg on the cover. Says Cruise, “Intuitively I saw a similarity in the profile of this man with myself. Naturally that’s something that makes an actor curious.”
And he insists that filming had to take place in Germany. “We wanted the inner truth, so to speak, and location helps with that.”
Cruise says that he enjoys living in Berlin with wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri. A personal highlight is Berlin’s Tiergarten park. “To my great delight I’ve discovered that my family and I can walk in the park at night and it’s not dangerous. Fantastic.”

HARRY POTTER author J.K Rowling on Tuesday lost a court fight in London to ban publication of a photograph of her young son.
Rowling, whose seventh and final Potter book was released worldwide last month to a frenzy of excitement and record sales, had argued at the High Court that her son David’s right to privacy was invaded by the picture.
The photograph, showing Rowling and her husband Neil Murray with the child in a buggy, was taken by a picture agency photographer using a long-range lens in a street in her home city of Edinburgh in 2004.
The boy, now aged four, was 20 months old at the time.

One minute after midnight last night the final book in the Harry Potter series went on sale. Fans all over the world were lined up at their favorite bookstore, many of them dressed as their favorite character. In the past few weeks speculation about the end of Harry Potter has been at the forefront of entertainment news. When interviews with the author, J.K. Rowling revealed an emotional and heart wrenching ending for the writer it only made curiosity soar. Now that the book is available I’m sure it won’t be long until we all know if Harry dies or not. I’m sure we can’t trust readers to keep that secret for too long. I’ll be surprised if no one just skips right to the end. Maybe now that the story is over life can get back to normal. Perhaps after the final movie the talk about Harry Potter will decrease until he is only mentioned at Halloween, like most other fantasy story characters.

Any woman who would consider marrying a man like Marilyn Manson must be pretty interesting herself. Manson’s latest ex burlesque star Dita Von Teese speaks out about her love of pornography. She claims that she often browses the internet looking for racy sites to catch her interest. Her belief is that it’s perfectly healthy to enjoy watching other people have sex. As long as everyone is legal age and consensual it’s normal, according to Miss Dita. I suppose that after a handful of years with Manson this is pretty normal. Anyone who has read his book from 1996 will know that he is anything but normal. For Dita to escape with no ill effect or negative influence is astounding. Enjoying a little porn is the least of her worries I’m sure. She still has the divorce to contend with.

This is the end of Jim Morrison as you may have heard it: the Doors front man expired in a bathtub in his Paris apartment on July 3, 1971, supposedly of heart failure. He was 27.
The circumstances surrounding the mysterious death of the Lizard King have spawned countless conspiracy theories over time, from CIA assassination plots to the suggestion that Morrison may have faked his own demise.
Now, 36 years after the fact, a former Paris nightclub manager has come forward with new information about how Morrison’s final moments may have really gone down.
Sam Bernett, the onetime manager of the Left Bank’s legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus club and a personal friend of the singer, claims that contrary to popular lore, Morrison was actually found dead in a toilet stall at the nightclub after overdosing on heroin.
In his forthcoming book, Jim Morrison: The End, Bernett tells of his shock at discovering Morrison’s body in the stall after he instructed a bouncer to break down the locked door.
“For a few seconds our eyes were glued to the unmoving corpse. We were mesmerized by the baffling spectacle,” he writes.
“The flamboyant singer of the Doors, the cool and good-looking Californian guy, was now a collapsed and inert lump lying in a nightclub toilet.”
The foam and blood on Morrison’s lips indicated to Bernett that he had been snorting heroin, which he always did instead of injecting the drug because he was afraid of needles.
The manager rushed to track down a regular club patron he knew was a physician and had him examine the body.
“It was a quick and professional examination. His diagnosis was very confident: ‘This man is dead. Apparently the victim of a cardiac arrest.’ The doctor was not stupid and spoke of a lethal overdose,” he recalled.
