It’s still better than Beyonce just going around singing with a different name. It looks like the Destiny’s Child girls got together to watch Jay-Z’s concert a few days ago… and by the girls one must understand Beyonce and Kelly Rowland because Michelle Williams was nowhere to be seen. Oh well, two out of three is still a good enough odd to be had… after all, the fans and former fans will nimble at it all the same. And it’s not like they haven’t been able to find somebody else to fill in the gap in past years… the band will go on.
R&B singer Beyonce Knowles is officially a big sister again as a DNA test has confirmed that Mathew Knowles is the father of Alexsandra Wright’s baby boy. With the DNA test a match, it’s being said that lawyers for both parties are in the final stages of negotiating a settlement for baby Nixon’s child support. Wright, who claimed to have an 18-month affair with Mathew, filed for a paternity lawsuit last October and Beyonce’s dad was ordered to pay a temporary child support of $8200 per month. I wonder how Beyonce feels about all of this considering that this is the reason her parents split.
It seems that she’s actually trying to establish a new record. Beyonce’s last concert almost met with a bit of an embarrassing accident as he high-heels slipped on the stage almost leading to the fall of this grand star. But Beyonce’s shows wouldn’t be worth so much money if she weren’t able to make even the most embarrassing looking accident look like a stage move. To the untrained eye, Beyonce’s little tumble might have seemed like a performance gimmick. This must be why she has so many fans, especially so many well paying fans that just shower her with big plump checks.
Singer Beyonce has said she wants a ‘whole bunch of kids’ but not right now.
The 28-year-old star, who recently picked up six awards at the Grammys, is married to rapper Jay-Z and she said she wants a whole brood of children one day.
Asked about children, she said: “Well, I’m an ambitious woman, and when I do anything, I do it really hard.
“If I work out, I work out really hard, and if I love somebody, I love them all the way.
“I’m very loyal. I want a whole bunch of kids – but after I’ve got certain things out of my system first.”
US singer-actress Beyoncé is up against Miley Cyrus and Sandra Bullock to claim this year’s Razzie award for worst actress.
The nominations for the annual Golden Raspberry Awards (Razzie Awards) were announced earlier today, and Beyoncé has been nominated in the Worst Actress category for her performance in Obsessed.
She is up against Sandra Bullock for All About Steve and Disney star Miley Cyrus for Hannah Montana: The Movie.
Megan Fox has received two Worst Actress nominations for Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen and Jennifer’s Body, while Sarah Jessica Parker was nominated for her role opposite Hugh Grant in Did You Hear About The Morgans?
Male Hollywood stars were also targeted in true Razzie fashion – actors including Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy and John Travolta were nominated for Worst Actor, alongside Disney trio the Jonas Brothers.
Gwen Stefani was recently honored by Popeater who named the artist for having one of the top pop albums of the decade. Joining the No Doubt singer on the list were Beyonce, Amy Winehouse, Kanye West and Justin Timberlake who took the top spot. I bet that was some piece of news that everyone will be celebrating in the New Years. And it seems that Gwen and Gavin will be spending it in England as they were spotted visiting relatives with their kids, 3-year old Kingston and 16-month old Zuma this past weekend. The whole family also enjoyed a stroll through the leaves in Hampstead Heath.
Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles is currently in legal proceedings with her husband and the singer’s manager Mathew Knowles. The soon to be former couple decided to release a statement to The Associated Press regarding their divorce, saying “The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.” Boo! With one of their kids being such a music cash cow, I was hoping for loads of drama to come out of their divorce.
Beyonce had a show slated for Malaysia this week but she has decided to postpone the concert, allegedly due to Islamic extremist criticism of her performing style. Due to her so-called provocative clothes and choreography, conservatives of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party think that the show would be immoral and should be cancelled. Promoters of the singer’s show would not confirm whether the postponement was in response to the criticism but they did confirm that it would be rescheduled for a “future date to be announced shortly.” If Avril Lavigne and Gwen Stefani could make it work in Malaysia, Beyonce sure can too!
It has been reported that a woman has filed a paternity lawsuit against Beyonce’s dad, Matthew Knowles. Alexsandra Wright filed the case in LA County Superior Court. She lives in LA, works in the name-branding business and is in her late 30s. Alexsandra, who’s 6 months pregnant, filed the case last week. Sources say that she is being represented by Neal Hersh, who is currently representing Lamar Odom in the pre-nup negotiation with Khloe Kardashian. Matthew has been married to Tina Knowles since 1980 so there is going to be some major family drama if he’s proven to be the father of Alexsandra’s kid.
Sweet Dreams singer Beyonce has spoken out about the MTV Video Music Awards incident with Kanye West.
Kanye, 32, jumped on stage when Taylor Swift, 19, won the VMA for Best Female Video and said that Beyonce, who was also nominated, had “one of the best videos of all time”.
Beyonce recently attended Billboard magazine’s annual Women in Music event, where she was named Woman of the Year.
Beyonce said after accepting the gong: “Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he’s like: ‘You have this award.’”
She added: “And when they didn’t call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like: ‘No, no, no!’ And then he spoke, and I was like: ‘Oh, no, no, no!’
“But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment – and I didn’t have to make an acceptance speech.”
Lindsay Lohan hosted F1 Rocks in Singapore and the actress requested the biggest and the best of the house dressing rooms. However, so did Beyonce. All was well and good for Lindsay who claimed the room even though it was assigned to the singer until Beyonce showed up last Saturday with her entourage of 70 and had her security team order Lindsay to get to stepping. Beyonce demanded a mini gym and slimming shakes for the room as well as champagne and vodka for her company. Beyonce admitted that her role in “Cadillac Records” is very dark and she even went to various drug rehabilitation clinics to prepare for her role as R&B singer Etta Jones who had a drug abuse problem ever since she was 21 years old. Reports show that Beyonce, who was nominated for Golden Globe for her Dreamgirls role, will donate part of her fees to charity particularly the Survivor Foundation which is helping drug addicts in their recovery process.

No, Justin hasn’t had a change of heart about being manly but his performance was part of a TV sketch with bootylicious Beyonce.

The dance number is really part of Beyonce’s music video where she is seen with two high-energy female dancers. Beyonce and Justin decided to do the skit for the comedy show but instead of female dancers, Beyonce had Justin and two other male dancers as well.
When Beyonce said something does not feel quite right because the song is supposed to be all about single ladies so she presumed the dancers would be beautiful and strong women, the three back-up dancers and singers responded by saying “we are the dancers..” Well, talk about the diva being mocked literally at that! From now on, Beyonce said, she will never work with men in tights ever again.
Beyonce seems to have gotten very fond of her cyborg hand when she showed up for the red carpet at the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards which were held at the Echo Arena last Thursday in Liverpool, England wearing the contraption. The 27-year old singer also gave a live performance of her hit song ‘If I Were a Boy’. Beyonce also talked about the elections last week. She was so overwhelmed when she heard about Barack Obama’s win. She said “I’ve never been so patriotic! I fell asleep crying and smiling at the same time … I woke up with mascara running and a smile on my face!”

She has officially gained about 20 pounds to play the role and by watching the picture I am satisfied that she has gained the flesh at all the right places.
A Detroit Beyonce fan named Robert Williams was arrested in Connecticut after driving erratically and nearly hitting a police car. One of the things he told the cops was that Mrs. Jay-Z was waiting to meet him on the George Washington Bridge. According to a police report, the hardcore fan nearly hit a police car, asked an officer for directions to Detroit then drove over a sidewalk and grassy area. The cops also noted that the man had flowers and a teddy bear in his car. The guy even asked the police if they were escorting him to New York City as Beyonce agreed to meet him.
