Ashlee Simpson’s baby bump seems to grow exponentially as she goes from zero to sixty in a matter of days! At the size she’s at, there’s no way that she’s not having twins. Either that or she’s having a giant for a baby. Pete Wentz’s wife showed off her growing belly, as well as two other lady lumps, on a girls’ day out in Los Angeles on Wednesday. Ash and a gal pal hit up the Coffee Bean and American Apparel in the Valley. Pregnancy is doing wonders for Ashlee’s body. Honestly, this is the best I’ve seen her look. Pete must be one happy camper with the changes that his wife’s body is going through.

Her career may have stopped from developing but that’s not something we could say about Ashlee Simpson’s baby bump. On her honeymoon six weeks ago, you could barely tell that she was even pregnant. Fast forward to now and the baby bump has grown in record time. Reports are saying that her baby, due in October, is a boy. There are also reports that she’s actually carrying twins. Twin boys perhaps? I don’t think just one kid would have her blow up like that so fast unless she or hubby Pete Wentz have giant genes somewhere down the family tree.

Us Weekly was first to say that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting a baby and then OK! confirmed the news as well. But the Fall Out Boy bassist is adamant that his fiancé isn’t pregnant. Pete personally told MTV News that “There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean were engaged, that’s true, and happy about it.” So there’s still no confirmation on that one.
