The singers, hoping to attract attention, invited A-list celebrities like Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to their brand new $10 million Hidden Hills, California home on Saturday night. A source said “They wanted to celebrate their new home and their sixth anniversary by renewing their vows. They’re excited about their new life together as a family in California and wanted to kick it off with a great party. Jen is very excited about sharing her special night with her family and friends.” Too bad absolutely no one cared.
Wyclef Jean has implored Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to consider adding to their family by adopting a child from earthquake-stricken Haiti.
“Brad and Angie, please! Please adopt a child from Haiti!” the singer has begged the celebrity duo, Us Magazine reports.
“I have so many celebrity friends who have really supported this cause [relief efforts in Haiti] and who continue to support this cause.
“Our job is to help those little kids, to give them a chance. If we give them a chance they’ll have a better tomorrow.”
Pitt and Jolie are parents to three adopted children, Maddox from Cambodia, Zahara from Ethiopia and Pax from Vietnam. They also have three other children, a daughter Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox.
Earlier this year the Academy Award-winning actress said: “I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of family. Brad and I talk about that.”
Actor Brad Pitt has spent $100,000 building a new run for his children’s gerbils.
The father-of-six, 45, loves architecture and oversaw the project – which includes a maze of tunnels, seesaws and platforms for the gerbils – at the home he shares with Angelina Jolie, in France.
A source said: “Brad pores over architectural journals like other people pore over newspapers. He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax.
“it’s incredibly complex and cost a lot, but Brad’s more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions – his kids and architecture.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly bought gerbils for their two oldest sons Pax and Maddox.
Brad, 45, and Angelina, 34, reportedly arrived at their chateau in France and later took their sons Maddox, eight, and Pax, five, to a local pet store where they bought gerbils and goldfish.
It is claimed they visited the Jardinerie du Centre Var store in Brignoles, France, and Angelina reached in to pet the gerbils while partner Brad looked around the store.
They then bought a cage and equipment for the new pets and bought their son Maddox a cactus.
Brad Pitt, a New Orleans homeowner, has ruled out running for mayor amid growing speculation and local support.
Pitt, whose home is in the city’s French Quarter, told a major television network: “It’s not what I do.”
He also said: “I don’t have a chance.”
Pitt has put major dollars and effort into rebuilding the ninth ward of the city that was ravaged by Hurricane Katrina almost four years ago.

Angelina Jolie angered animal lovers when she appeared on the set of her new movie wearing a fur-trimmed cape along with what looked to be a matching chinchilla-trimmed Russian hat.
The photos of Jolie, a UN Goodwill Ambassador, on the set of Salt in New York wearing clothes supposedly made from furry little creatures made animal rights organisation PETA angry.
But the film’s publicists have now confirmed that the outfit the actress was wearing was, in fact, fake fur.
PETA wrote on its website: “Yes, Angelina Jolie was spotted wearing what appeared to be a chinchilla-trimmed hat and cape on the set of her latest movie. But our LA staffers – knowing that Angelina is a long-time fur foe – were on it, and they’ve received word from the film’s publicist that [phew!] the chinchilla is actually synchilla.”

He said: We average about two a year, so I guess we’re overdue, aren’t we?” But of course Angelina Jolie doesn’t shy away from being a xenomorph queen and said about having more children: “If they come our way, we’d be happy to have them all. We love children.” But seriously, they already have like 6 of them, what are do they think this is: the repopulation contest? Do they think we’re going to colonize Mars in the near future and there will be a need of people to do the job? Maybe that way we will all get in touch with the real xenomorphs, I’m sure their queen will be jealous when she finds out about Angelina Jolie’s performance.
Brad Pitt says that he ain’t too good at cooking things but in the same tune he insists that Angelina Jolie is no better than him and said that at best she’s only been able to prepare “cereal” for him.
The Hollywood couple has six children and raises all of the six together, but Pitt admits in between the two both are not gifted with even basic skills to be able to conjure up a meal for their family – because they just can’t cook.

The “Tomb Raider” hottie gave birth to twin babies a couple of months ago and she has already expressed her desire to adopt another child soon.
During an interview on the Today show at the NBC Studios in New York City, when asked about her future plans for adopting more children, she responded, “It depends. You can’t even start the process until any new children are six months old, to understand how the new family has settled to see what you could absorb into a new family.”
I am sure that after some years, Angelina Jolie and her loving hubby Brad Pitt would be able to produce their own movies with complete cast from their own home.
Jon Voight has branded Roseanne Barr as “evil” for launching a vicious attack on his daughter Angelina Jolie and her hubby Brad Pitt.
Roseanne posted a bitter tirade against the Hollywood couple on her website, accusing them of donating money to charity for the sole purpose of building themselves a reputation as heroes of humanitarian causes.
The sitcom queen also slated the pair for only splashing out a tiny percentage of their multi-million dollar earnings, hinting they should be parting with a great deal more to better the lives of those less fortunate.
Now veteran actor Jon has hit back, insisting Roseanne can’t be taken seriously after she was exposed as a “psychopathic liar” for allegedly telling tales about her childhood.
He ranted: “We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents. Roseanne’s parents responded to the accusation by going on air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.”
Jon also pointed to the occasion Roseanne sparked outrage with her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner before a 1990 baseball game in San Diego, during which she screeched throughout the tune before grabbing her crotch and spitting.
He added: “That gave us an insight into who she is and what she is capable of saying and doing.”
The Midnight Cowboy legend is also enraged at the comedienne for ridiculing Angelina’s indecision over which presidential candidate to endorse ahead of the US election.
Roseanne wrote on her blog page: “Miss Jolie says she likes John McCain too and hasn’t decided who to endorse… huh? Aren’t you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican party’s worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Ronald Reagan?”
She proceeded to call Angelina and her hubby Brad “evil” for “trying to look as if they give a c**p about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more”.

Through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, they are giving $1 million to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict. The money goes to American and Iraqi children who suffer from the war.
Angelina says, “These educational support programs for children of conflict are the best way to help them heal.” Brad says, “We hope to encourage others to give to these great organizations.”
