Lea Michele to play Dorothy

Lea Michele is set to follow the yellow brick road, with reports that the actress has signed on to play Dorothy in a new big-screen, 3-D musical about the girl with the ruby slippers.
Dorothy Of Oz is set the day after she returns to Kansas, and sees her return to Oz in search of the Tin Man, Lion and the Scarecrow.
Kelsey Grammer, Dan Aykroyd, Martin Short, Jim Belushi, Hugh Dancy, Patrick Stewart, and Oliver Platt are also to star in the project, E Online reports.
Despite being a veteran of musical theatre, this movie would mark the Glee star’s first big-screen performance.
