Lady GaGa is shy for Hollywood

Posted on Feb 10, 2010 under Hollywood, Lady Gaga | No Comment

It seems the extremely successful singer considers that she is way too shy for the land of glitz and glamour. This is what Lady GaGa said on the matter: “I don’t really meet that many other artists because I’m actually kinda shy. I might not be shy with people that I know but with people that I don’t know I am very shy. I generally really keep to myself and I am focused on my music. But when I do meet people that I have lots in common with it goes really well. I always feel shy in the Hollywood scene. I feel a bit like I did in high school, like I don’t really fit in.” Right… so all the eccentric costumes, all of the flashing, all of the unusual fashion statements are what? Lady GaGa’s way of overcompensating? This all seems a bit odd… maybe Lady GaGa’s getting tired of the music business.

Avril Lavigne’s Song Bombs

Posted on Feb 10, 2010 under Avril Lavigne, song, soundtrack | 3 Comments

Avril Lavigne recently released ‘Alice’, the theme for Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and it is all sorts of crappy. The song was released last week and it’s sitting at the meager #64 spot on the iTunes sales charts. We shouldn’t really be surprised at how badly that song’s doing. Pretty much everything that the Canadian pop punk singer touches turns into crap anyway. I really have to question why they even chose Avril to sing the title track of the movie. I just hope the other songs on the soundtrack aren’t as bad as that one. Otherwise, we’ve got a flop on our hands.
