Two more memorial services are in the works in light of Michael Jackson’s 51st birthday on August 29.

In addition to last week’s epic Los Angeles ceremony at the Staples Centre, a memorial in Las Vegas will pay tribute to the late star on his birthday. Another is expected to take place in London at the O2 Arena, where he was to play a mammoth series of concerts.

The Vegas benefit will take place at the Palms Hotel and Casino, inside The Pearl venue.

Jersey Boys star Erich Bergen will co-produce the event, which he said will feature everyone from “cast members in current shows on the Strip to the big guys, along with some bands”.

A memorial to Jackson has already been held in his home city of Gary, Indiana.

Meanwhile, the singer’s brother Jermaine may soon have a meeting with executives at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel to discuss a possible show featuring members of the Jackson 5.
