Natalie Portman is set to star as a ballerina in a supernatural thriller.
The Star Wars actress has just become attached to Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan, which is set to begin shooting later this year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is said to be a spine-tingler along the lines of Nicole Kidman’s The Others, mixing reality and fantasy.
Portman plays a veteran ballerina competing with a rival dancer – but as a big performance approaches it is unclear whether the rival is a supernatural apparition or a delusion.
