Sacha Baron Cohen was threatened by gun-wielding hunters on the set of his new movie Bruno.
Cohen, 37, was on location in the US Deep South when three men, unaware they were being set up, reportedly got annoyed with the star.
When Cohen, playing the role of Bruno, started dancing around naked, the men reportedly picked up their guns after realising he was gay. Cohen and the cameraman then made a hasty escape.
A source said: “The crew thought something serious would happen. They were in the middle of nowhere. The hunters thought he was an Austrian TV presenter doing a travel piece. But his behaviour became outrageous.
“He said they were all like the Sex and the City girls and it went downhill from there. They went for their guns and loaded them in front of the camera. Sacha tried to calm them down but the men were furious, so they had to get out of there. Everyone was really shaken up by it all.”

Mel Gibson’s Russian lover Oksana Grigorieva has revealed the film star has helped her pen an “intimate” song for her new album.
The classical pianist and singer, who is pregnant with the actor’s child, has posted the track, Say My Name, online.
It is to be the first single from her upcoming album – and she said Gibson, who has signed her to his Icon label, collaborated on the lyrics.
The 39-year-old said: “It is the first and one of the simplest songs on the album, but also one of the most intimate.
“It is naked, intimate, raw emotion, little more than piano and voice as if it is a cry from the soul.”
Gibson and Grigorieva first stepped out officially as a couple at a red-carpet event in late April, two weeks after his wife Robyn filed for divorce.
Say My Name can be downloaded from Grigorieva’s website, at www.oksana.fm.

Katie Price and Peter Andre fans are still desperate to travel in the reality stars’ “pumpkin-style” wedding carriage despite their marriage split, according to reports.
The couple married at Highclere Castle in Berkshire, UK, in 2005, but it was recently announced that they are separating.
Katie, 31, and Peter, 36, travelled in the carriage when they married and bookings for it are still high, according to the carriage’s owner Georgina McDonagh.
She said: “It’s more in demand than ever, regardless of the split between Katie and Peter.”
She added: “The majority of our customers are based in the UK, but we get a lot of enquiries from Ireland and we’ve done a few weddings and first communions there in the past.
“We’ve a few coming up over there during the summer. It usually costs an additional £800 to cover transport costs on top of the £1,400 rental fee.”
