Meet Charice – a seventeen year old Filipino superstar whose powerful voice shines wise beyond her years. Charice was originally discovered by Oprah’s producers via a YouTube video which was filmed when she was just fifteen years old. The internet sensation has impressed both fans and industry professionals after racking up over thirteen million hits online.
Charice recently premiered her new single, “Note To God,” on “Oprah’s Search for the World’s Smartest and Most Talented Kids.” The haunting and emotionally charged track was produced by the legendary David Foster and written by Grammy winner Diane Warren.

The pre-school attended by Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s daughter is trying to ban the paparazzi from its gates.
The First Presbyterian Nursery School in Santa Monica, California has become a popular target for photographers ever since Violet, three, became a student there.
Parents and teachers claim the paparazzi are robbing kids of a peaceful arrival and some worried parents claim they’ve been physically and verbally abused by the snappers, with one alleging her four-year-old was almost run over by a ruthless pap.
Santa Monica City Council member, Richard Bloom, is now leading a movement to create school buffer zones, where the paparazzi cannot stand.
Bloom, an attorney, told the Los Angeles Times: “If this were an isolated thing that had happened once or twice, I wouldn’t be spending my time on it.”
The councillor reveals he has spoken with Garner and Affleck about their concerns for little Violet: “They expressed to me that they understand this is a part of their lives that they have to accept, but it’s not something that other people should have to experience.”

True Blood star Anna Paquin has said that the vampire show is “completely different” to hit film Twilight.
Paquin, who plays mind-reading Sookie Stackhouse in the series, said: “They’re completely different age groups that they’re trying to appeal to. It wouldn’t be appropriate for teenagers to be watching our show. I wouldn’t have been allowed to.”
She added: “I get more naked this season than I did last season. We have a really great crew and everyone’s really respectful. It’s not an issue for me.”
But the Golden Globe-winning actress said she does feel the pressure to stay in shape for her role.
She said: “I work my ass off. I’m very careful about what I eat and I work out a lot. My costume entails bathing suits, short-suits and nude scenes, come on! I don’t want to be perpetuating the myth that women actually do look exactly like the way they look in magazines and on television through absolutely no effort.”

Break-out Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto says boyfriend Dev Patel’s eyes lit up when they met.
The actors, who met on the set of Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film, were instantly drawn to each other during casting.
Freida revealed all to OK! saying: “He was 17 when I first met him. I walked into a room and this jet-lagged boy was sitting on a couch waiting for the girls to come in one by one. He just had this little boy-ish thing about him… his eyes just lit up.”
The couple, who are rarely pictured together, have struggled to keep their rumoured relationship under wraps after their co-star confirmed the rumours earlier this year.
Dev Patel’s mother also confirmed the news after the couple were finally photographed kissing last month.
