Pierce Brosnan reportedly saved co-star Uma Thurman from a runaway van while shooting their new film.
The pair were on location filming new flick Percy Jackson when Brosnan, 56, allegedly spotted the van heading towards Thurman, 39.
A source said: “No one was aboard the runaway van as it barrelled towards a grassy area where Uma was relaxing with cast and crew. Pierce yelled: ‘Get out of the way!’”
The source added: “He raced after the van, wrenched open the driver’s side door, jumped in and slammed on the brakes.”
The Irish actor, who is famous for playing spy James Bond in four of the classic movies, reportedly stopped the van as it hit a curb and collided with some nearby rubbish bins.
The source added: “Everyone scattered out of harm’s way. Pierce got kudos and hero 007 jokes from Uma. The transportation crew were in trouble for not setting the van’s emergency brakes.”
