Jennifer Love Hewitt has reportedly been shopping for wedding rings.
The Ghost Whisperer actress, 30, and new boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, 39 – who have been dating since she split from her Scots-born fiancé Ross McCall late last year – have also given each other commitment bracelets.
A source told a US newspaper the couple recently bought each other the “love bracelets” from luxury jewellers Cartier.
The pal said: “They’ve also been shopping for an engagement ring for Jennifer. She is simply a girl who always needs a man in her life and is getting nervous that she may miss out on marriage and having a family.”

Simon Cowell has admitted Susan Boyle made him look “stupid” and has said sorry for the way he treated her at first.
The judge made the apology as Susan sailed into the final of Britain’s Got Talent.
She reduced judge Amanda Holden to tears with her rendition of Memory and got the most public votes in the first live semi-final of the talent contest.
She is now one step closer to her dream of performing in front of the Queen.
Giving her a standing ovation after her performance, Cowell said: “Susan, you are one special lady I have to say, you really are. And you know what, I just want to apologise because of the way we treated you before you sang the first time, you have made me and everyone else look very stupid and I’m very happy for you, very proud of you.”
Cowell was referring to all of the judges’ negative reaction to Susan when she first appeared in the heats.
When her name was announced as the first finalist, Susan looked stunned before wondering off the stage in the wrong direction and having to be called back.
She then did a little dance and said to judge Piers Morgan: “This one’s for you Piers, Piersy baby!”
Susan admitted that the show has given her a chance to prove herself to the world.
She said: “All my life I’ve always striven to prove myself, that I can be accepted, that I’m not the worthless person that people think I am, that I do have something to offer.”

Katie Holmes spent her bank holiday Memorial Day honouring America’s war veterans in Washington DC.
The actress took part in the 20th annual PBS National Memorial Day Concert, where she and her All My Sons costar Dianne Wiest paid tribute to José Pequeño.
Pequeño, a US Staff Sergeant, was severely injured during a tour of duty in Iraq, and the actresses shared his story and that of his mother Nellie Bagley and his sister Elizabeth.
Sporting black capris, ballet flats, and a billowy black and blue blouse, a very stylish Holmes – without husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri – was spotted on Saturday afternoon on the Capitol grounds rehearsing for the big event.
Holmes, portrayed Staff Sergeant Pequeño’s sister Elizabeth opposite Wiest, who portrayed his mother Nellie, appeared emotional during her solemn reading but managed to smile brightly before leaving the stage – even giving one gentleman onstage a high-five.
Other celebrities on hand for the star-studded concert included actors Laurence Fishburne, co-hosts Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna, and singer Katharine McPhee.
