The former Spice Girl recently expressed her contentment with Madonna’s attempt of adopting the little Malawian girl. Melanie B said: “It’s easy for critics to knock celebrities who choose to adopt, but it’s a good thing that Madonna’s doing. Not only is she highlighting the plight of orphans in Africa, she’s also giving this little girl the chance of a better life.” Orphans in Africa are a plight? Moreover, why does Melanie B think that they even need to be highlighted… everyone knows about the orphans in Africa. Everyone has known about them for about a decade and a half now, and yet there is little being done to stop this “plight”.

Russell Brand’s cereal idea

The famous comedian apparently has new cravings for cereal that contains nicotine. This is what Russell Brand wrote on his Twitter page: “I demand a new breakfast cereal called ‘Lucky Fags’ – honey-nut clusters, with chocolate, jam sandwiches and cigarettes in it – GOOD MORNING!” Interesting way Russell Brand has of starting his mornings. What about demanding that all freeloading mice get decent jobs and make an honorable living for themselves? Surely there will be someone who will answer Russell Brand’s calling. Still, it’s not so bad as a commercial idea. The pharmaceutical companies would probably leap right at it in a second with all their “quit smoking now” campaigns.
