Casey Aldridge has been taken out of intensive care and has been walking about, following a car accident where he sustained a head injury, according to reports.
The 20-year-old, who has a 10-month-old daughter with Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn, was admitted to hospital recently when his pickup truck flipped over on the driver’s side, ejecting him and two friends from the vehicle.
There were five people, including Casey, travelling in the truck and had earlier attended a bachelor party for Aldridge’s cousin nearby.
A source said: “He came out of ICU.”
The source added that he had been “walking around twice”.
The source added to PEOPLE: “He was a little wobbly because that’s the first time he’s been up since the wreck.”
Talking about how 18-year-old Jamie Lynn had coped with her boyfriend’s accident, the source added: “I’ve been very proud of her.”
Prison Break star Lane Garrison has checked into a rehab centre – just hours after being released from prison.
The actor was granted parole after spending half of his 40-month sentence in a California jail.
He was sentenced to three years and four months in prison for a dead drink-driving accident.
Garrison was released from the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi California in the early hours of Wednesday morning and hours later, he checked into the Tarzana Treatment Center.
He entered a substance abuse program while in prison and now has to continue treatment after being released as part of his parole.
Garrison served the time after pleading guilty to a series of charges – including vehicular manslaughter – after a December 2006 accident in which he rammed his Land Rover into a tree, killing a 17-year-old Beverly Hills High student and injuring two teenage girls.
Garrison was legally drunk at the time and had given alcohol to the minors.
Police found cocaine in his system and his blood alcohol level was over twice the legal limit.
Lane pleaded guilty to the charges following the crash in 2007. He recently agreed to pay the victims’ families a financial settlement.
Brave Michael J. Fox claims taking up golf with Parkinson’s disease is the “most optimistic” thing he has ever done – and joked other golfers are always asking what his handicap is.
The Back To The Future actor also told how he is so determined to think positive he would even “eat a pork sandwich in Mexico City right now”.
Fox told US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel: “The most optimistic thing I have done in my life is take up golf with Parkinson’s. It’s just ridiculous.
“People say to me, ‘What’s your handicap?’ I say, ‘Go figure that out.’”
He added: “I’m a terrible golfer.”
The star, who has refused to let his battle with Parkinson’s stop him enjoying life, has just written a book called Always Looking Up: The Adventures of an Incurable Optimist.
He said: “When you have kind of a non-choice, if you have Parkinson’s or something – but I have a million choices about other stuff.
“We get hung up on what we can’t do or a loss that we have.
“That’s OK, it’s good to acknowledge and accept it, then move on.
“Your happiness increases with your acceptance and goes down with your expectation.”
Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey unexpectedly found himself abandoned on a primetime US television studio when he arrived on the set for his interview.
The actor was seen wandering around the empty set of Good Morning America – as Eric Carmen’s hit All By Myself played in the background.
Matt, 39, looked for presenter Diane Sawyer, who was due to interview him.
But she and the show’s other hosts were doing a live segment from Wisconsin, and Matt jokingly pretended he did not know they wouldn’t be there, standing next to cardboard cut-outs of them.

Ailing Farrah Fawcett broke down in tears during an emotional reunion with her troubled son Redmond O’Neal.
Redmond was let out of jail for three hours to visit the cancer stricken actress after a judge signed a removal order.
Dressed in an orange jumpsuit and still in handcuffs, Redmond O’Neal was escorted from prison to his mother’s Los Angeles home by sheriff deputies.
Once inside, the handcuffs were removed, so the pair could hug and kiss each other.
In a tear jerking reunion, sources revealed to RadarOnline, that both Farrah and Redmond O’Neal cried many times.
A highly emotional Farrah told Redmond that she was sorry for any mistakes she made raising him and that she wasn’t always there for him.
But Redmond O’Neal told his mother not to blame herself for his multiple drug-related arrests and told her that he was going to kick drugs this time, for her.
Farrah was torn with emotion, happy to see her son again, yet distraught to see him in prison garb while Redmond was equally emotional and upset at his mother’s appearance.
Although some people around Farrah have tried to downplay the seriousness of her illness, her own doctor has announced publicly that her cancer has spread from its site of origin to her liver.
It is highly unusual for a prisoner to be released for a visit in these circumstances.
These types of visits are usually reserved for gravely ill relatives, funerals or other emergencies.
And although other news reports have downplayed the seriousness of her condition, her appearance reportedly shocked Redmond.

Singing ballerina Hollie Steel wowed the Britain’s Got Talent judges.
The 10-year-old school girl from Accrington, Lancashire, took to the stage in a little pink tutu and danced before singing an angelic rendition of the My Fair Lady hit I Could Have Danced All Night.
Hollie said: “I’d love to dance in front of the Queen because I’ve never met her before and I hope she really likes me if I do.”
After her performance judge Amanda Holden said: “It is just ridiculous how much talent you have. The voice that came out of you, I was stunned.”
And Piers Morgan said: “We have seen lots of children on this show in three series now and I have never heard any of them sing as well as you.”
Simon Cowell added: “The fact that you don’t know how good you are is what I really like about you. This might just be the tip of the iceberg with you because I think you’re better than that.”
Also at the Manchester auditions was 30-year-old Anthony Ghosh, who calls himself DJ Talent.

ER star Parminder Nagra has revealed David Beckham told her she was a good footballer at the premiere for the film Bend It Like Beckham.
Parminder, 33, shot to fame in 2002 when she played the role of Jessmindar in the football flick.
She said: "David Beckham said I was a good footballer. I sat right behind him at the first screening of Bend It Like Beckham, but I couldn’t see his face. I did notice he had nice manicured nails and he was concentrating on the screen intensely."
She told British magazine Live: "He was with Victoria, who tapped her feet any time music came on."
She added: "And then she turned to him and said: ‘This is really good, isn’t it?’ After the film, he came up and shook my hand and said I’d done really well."
Parminder landed a big break on US medical drama ER following her performance in Bend It Like Beckham and has since moved to the US.
She said: "I felt like a fraud for the first week on ER. I knew no one in Hollywood and I was joining this huge dynasty of a show. For the first few weeks, I was bumbling around looking lost, which was OK – my character, Neela, was an intern and also had no idea what she was doing."
Tom Cruise and pal John Travolta are set to star in a remake of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, according to reports.
Reports claim Cruise, 46, will produce a remake of the classic film through his co-owned studio, United Artists. It is also claimed he got the blessing of original star Paul Newman before he passed away last year.
A senior executive said: “It has been a pet project of his that has been on the back-burner for years.”
The exec added to British newspaper the Sunday Express: “But now he’s ready to go, and will most likely happily eschew the enormous salary that he normally commands.”
It is claimed Cruise will star as Sundance, with pal Travolta, 55, starring as Cassidy.
A source close to Cruise added: “He was eight years old when he saw the original and it made an impression that has stayed with him all his life. He can’t wait to get to work.”
Cruise’s spokesperson reportedly declined to comment, according to the newspaper.
Sir Paul McCartney had a near-miss at the airport recently when ex-wife Heather Mills was checking in at the desk behind him.

Gwyneth Paltrow said she will be staying in London, despite removal vans spotted outside the star’s home.
The 36-year-old is currently filming Iron Man 2 in Los Angeles and will be spending the next few months there before taking an annual summer trip to New York.
It was reported the move could be permanent after removal vans were spotted taking items out of the star’s London home, which she shares with husband Chris Martin and their two children.
But her spokesman, Stephen Huvane, said: “They are not moving house – just removing and replacing some things. Gwyneth has always lived in the US for half of the year and the UK the other half.”
