Eight Is Enough star Willie Aames needs more than eight to sustain his lifestyle forcing him to hold a garage sale at his home so he could raise cash to pay off his debts. Willie Aames played the sidekick of Scott Baio in the 1980s “Charles In Charge” show but apparently he was not able to save enough money for his future or if ever he had some savings all of them have been spent already.
The 48-year old former Teen Beat poster boy was able to sell his autographed photos, posters and his other television and movie memorabilia. There’s also his artwork, a plush leather couch, a lion mounted on an oak pedestal, piano and a TV set. Pop goes the life of Willie Aames, former teen star who got hooked on drugs and alcohol but was able to kick the habit and became a Christian and ordained minister later on. Unfortunately the recession came in and Willie Aames had to declare bankruptcy last year which led to his wife of 22 years leaving him and to his unsuccessful suicide. Well, might as well sell those goodies since his home has also been placed under foreclosure.
The actress is apparently determined to end her marriage with the sports agent, but also wants to keep it amicable for the sake of their twenty month-old son. A source had this to say about the impending divorce between Davinia Taylor and Dave Gardner: “Davinia is devastated but knows it is over. They love each other, but are not in love. There is no-one else involved and it is an amicable split. Davinia and Dave are upset but want to make sure they stay friends for their son. Davinia still thinks the world of Dave, she thinks he is a wonderful man and a wonderful dad.” They still love each other but are not in-love? How does that work, honestly? Does Davinia Taylor suddenly have no more interest in Dave Gardner, even though she still considers him to be great? This is just like saying “well, I like this pudding because it tastes great, but I’m not going to eat this pudding because I know it tastes great”. Ah yes, the human race… the rational, enlightened species!
In a poll conducted to find the star women would love share a dinner date with has concluded that The Pirates of The Caribbean actor Johnny Depp is the top star on the dinner date list. Women who took part in the poll conducted by environmental charity WWF picked Johnny Depp ahead of Ocean’s Thirteen star George Clooney.
Environmental charity WWF also conducted a poll for males wanting the share a dinner date with their favorite actresses and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole took the first position ahead of Jennifer Aniston and British model Kelly Brook.
I really do not find these polls credible because most polls aren’t country wide surveys so only a small number of people say 2000-3000 people are taken into account and that’s a poll. Well Johnny Depp and George Clooney would be in every list compiled but cannot say the same when it comes to the current female list. Everyone’s got their opinions but I have an endless list of females I would love to share a dinner date.
Lindsay Lohan has more reasons to be nervous these days that her luck might just run out. To her dismay, her newest movie “Labor Pains” would not be shown in theaters after all. Her fans, if she still has them, would not have to spend a few bucks watching Lindsay Lohan on the big screen because they can watch her right in their living rooms. Labor Pains will instead premiere on the cable channel in July 2009 and will also be released in DVDs on August.
The film Labor Pains, which completed production in August last year, would have been an ego boost to Lindsay Lohan considering she has not starred in a movie since “Chapter 27″ was shown in 2007. A source however said the movie will hit theaters internationally but did not reveal any release date. Lindsay Lohan is however eyeing a new romantic comedy movie opposite Nick Cannon so her fans might want to watch out for that. That is, if they will still be around after Lindsay Logan blamed her fans for her lack of work saying her sicko fans are so distracting.
The singer has supposedly been having trouble concentrating on getting his new album done. Tyrese Gibson, a singer who his close to Chris Brown had the following to say about what the rapper has been going through: “Although he appears to be really strong through all of this, it’s really taking a toll on his spirit. People like me and Diddy are just trying to show him love and keep his spirits up while he’s going through all of the heat, and there are a lot people doing the same for Rihanna. I’m not trying to justify it because wrong is wrong, but unfortunately, us as entertainers, we have to grow up on stage with a lot of people looking at us.” Chris Brown must be exaggerating. Who wouldn’t be able to record a new album after maiming their girlfriend like a wild bear and being part of a scandal that can very well shatter any of their hopes for the future? And besides, it’s not like Chris Brown has to command an entire symphonic orchestra for his latest work.

But be prepared to pay the price if you want to be the recovered pop princess. Britney’s conservators have hired a total of 17 lawyers and law firms to handle her affairs over the last 14 months. You know that’s bound to cost a lot of money. According to legal papers filed in LA County Superior Court earlier this past week, the fees just keep on piling up. The attorneys representing Jamie Spears alone have already racked up more than $1 million in fees! And Britney’s actual total in legal fees – $2.7 million!
The actor has recently shared with the rest of us puny mortals his secrets to a happy marriage. Ashton Kutcher said: “For me it’s about relearning that supporting my wife isn’t about providing $ and Home, it’s about supporting her desires, needs and emotions. Greatest lesson in my marriage. Don’t try to solve her problems, just listen, love and be supportive. This is the opposite of male nature. 2nd greatest lesson. When she says time for bed… hop to, good things await.” Well of course good things await. After all, Ashton Kutcher is married to Demi Moore. Under those circumstances it’s no wonder Ashton Kutcher finds so much patience for everything in his marriage.
The actress from “Quantum of Solace” has recently admitted that a good personality is the main thing she looks for in a man. Olga Kurylenko said: “Good looks aren’t what I look for in a man. That’s way down the list. If a man can make me laugh and stimulate me intellectually, then I wouldn’t mind if he was 4ft 8ins with a huge belly. The only thing that would put me off is bad breath – but even that can be fixed. A bad personality isn’t so easy to fix.” Why does all of this sound like just another cliché? In the end, Olga Kurylenko is saying that for her an ideal date should just have to have a bit of wit and a pack of mints. Most job requirements are limited to just that. It would a tad prophetic for Olga Kurylenko to end up with a guy that owns a mint factory or something of the sorts.

The track was featured on last night’s episode of One Tree Hill and is one of the several shiny new gems featured on her upcoming release, A Fine Mess, due out in May. Voegele, who plays the spunky Mia on the popular teen drama, calls the placement of “Manhattan From The Sky” “the most amazing set-up ever.” “The coolest thing is how they worked the song into the show so that it enhanced the scene, and how the scene enhanced the song.”
She says the idea for the piano-driven pop number came to her while sitting in a plane, 30,000 feet above New York City. “I was just thinking about how Manhattan looks like a little piece of Lego,” Voegele recalls, “but once you’re inside, it’s totally crazy and messy and there’s a wonderful chaos going on all around the city.”

16 Frames’ new album, Where It Ends, is available today! The Los Angeles based band teamed up with producer Matt Serletic (Matchbox 20, Santana) for their major label debut. Tracks from Where It Ends have been featured on MTV’s The Hills and recently appeared in the promos for ABC’s Private Practice.

Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto is going to make it big in Hollywood and this prediction will soon come true if rumors that she is the new James Bond girl are indeed true. There are reports that producer Barbara Broccoli has invited Freida Pinto to take a screen test. Actually, Freida Pinto already got the attention of the James Bond production team while they were still filming Quantum of Solace which means even before Slumdog Millionaire got all the attention.
Freida Pinto was however seen as too young at that time to play the love interest of secret agent Daniel Craig who played James Bond. This time though, the production peopel thinks that Freida Pinto ahs blossomed into a stunning young woman who would look perfect beside James Bond’s Daniel Craig. And to top that, Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle is being eyed to direct the next James Bond movie thereby increasing the chance of Freida Pinto getting a starring role. The next James Bond film has a tentative title of “Bond 23″.
Not all popular celebrities are empty-headed guys and gals who were just lucky enough to have made it big in Hollywood. Some of them are the really brainy types who have gone to University and ended up in Hollywood because they just could not resist their true calling. One of those who belong to the second category and who was lucky enough to have made it big is Matt Damon who has recently voiced out his queer idea about the Academy Awards. For Matt Damon, the best way to judge movies is maybe 10 years after they have been released.
An Oscar winner for Best Original Screenplay for the 1997 movie Good Will Hunting which he co-wrote with Ben Affleck, Matt Damon said this year’s Academy Awards should have been made for movies shown in 1998. Matt Damon, who also got a nomination for his performance in Good Will Hunting, said doing the awards based on the present year often results in some mistakes. His queer Oscar ideas aside, Matt Damon said their fans should not expect a joint script effort from him and Ben Affleck just yet as they are busy having fun with their families. The two families took a vacation together but Matt Damon said they are not concocting anything now but maybe in the future. Matt Damon however said fans can look forward to a 4th Bourne movie.
Before his death in early 2008, Heath Ledger began production on an animated music video for indie rock band Modest Mouse. However, due to his untimely death, the video was never completed. Reps for the band are now saying that the video for their 2007 single ‘King Rat’ will be released within this year. Modest Mouse front man Isaac Brock “is supporting the completion of the video in honor of Heath’s last piece of work as a director” after collaborating side by side with the late actor on the conception of the animated video. I can’t wait to see it and get another chance at seeing Heath’s tremendous talent.
The recent fiasco involving Olympic medalist Michael Phelps and his infamous bong photo has made him realized one thing at least—not all friends could be trusted. Michael Phelps was photographed holding the joint while he was attending a party where he said he knew most of the guests since there were only up to seven people there at one time. He said it was just a small group with most of them just sitting around and celebrating and taking cellphone pictures. Apparently, one of these cellphone photos reached the tabloids and magazines resulting to the bong scandal.
Michael Phelps, who was dropped by Kelloggs as an endorser as a result of the incident, said he trusted his friends who were there at the party. Apparently, not all of them were trustworthy people and he learned this the hard way. The 14-time Olympic gold medalist said he made a mistake in judgment when he partied and smoked pot. Probably, Michael Phelps wanted to say he made a mistake by getting caught with the pot on his hands.
Check out Demi Lovato’s just released video for “Don’t Forget. “ The video for the heartfelt ballad was shot at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, CA and features Demi rocking out in the rain. “Don’t Forget” is the title track off of Demi’s debut album and will appear on her new Deluxe Edition due out on March 31st along with two brand new songs, behind the scenes content and making of the video footage. Pussycat Dolls have just premiered the video for their version of A R Rahman’s Oscar winning “Jai Ho!” “It was such a great honor to be able to re-write my own version of the lyrics,” said PCD’s Nicole Scherzinger who worked with producer Ron Fair on the new interpretation of the track. The Dolls shot the video for “Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)” at an abandoned train station museum in snowy Vienna with director Thomas Kloss (Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus).

Pop star has won a court order that bans paparazzi shutterbugs from harassing her. The British singer has for long said that she is sick and tired of the many paparazzi who constantly follow her and make life hell for her.
Just a couple of days ago there were pictures in the press showing Lily hitting, kicking & punching a photographer who had got into the back her car just so that he can follow the singer to her destination. That irked the singer and she went into a no holds bar attack.
This incident made her move to the court to get an injunction against such paparazzi getting anywhere close to her. Wow that’s something I hear now, she assaults a photographer and the poor fellow cannot do anything instead this crazy gal get the court order.
I think I’m getting to old to understand how the court of justice goes about their business. Can someone tell me when is there going to be a jail especially created to house some of these maniacs that we allow to be a part a civilized society. Most of them can be put inside being behaving like hooligans yet we choose to adore their antics.
