“Dirty Dancing” star Patrick Swayze is now in the hospital for pneumonia, one of the medical conditions foreseen to arise in line with his chemotherapy treatments for pancreatic cancer. The sad news was announced during the Television Critics Association 2009 Winter Press Tour where Swayze, costar Travis Fimmel and producers were supposed to present to the critics their new drama “The Beast”.
Representatives from A&E said Swayze told them to proceed with the show and pass along his message of how “unbelievably proud” he is of The Beast. Swayze, who was interviewed several days ago by Barbara Walters, admitted he was going through hell but is fighting cancer. He said he might only have two years to live but this will not stop him from working for as long as he can. The pain being suffered by Swayze must be very intense considering he has refused to take painkillers while doing “The Beast”. Despite this, he has only missed one shooting day in the entire 13-episodes of the “The Beast”.

The singer recently received a ring that is supposed to have magical properties that shall boost her self confidence. The ring was made especially for her by designer Dara Dubinet who had this to say about it: “I made the ring with Britney in mind. When something is made with good intention, it carries that positive energy to the person who ends up wearing it.” Right… and I’m sure the ring has other properties as well: +5 to hot-headedness, +21 to “self-esteem” and +85% chance of making a complete fool out of yourself. Let the epic quests begin!

A source, and I have to ask myself who these so-called sources really are, has made yet another shocking statement that will further perpetuate this little news gold mine called “the break-up of Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson”. Here is the statement: “Sam broke up with Lindsay but she is completely in denial about it.” This explains everything! Now the show can go on and on. I’m curious what Lindsay will have to say about this one, but here’s what I really think happened: this was whole a set-up by the Government in order to have a strong, valid argument to support not legalizing homosexual unions. That must be it!
