In a bid to keep secretive love relationship under complete raps ‘Rehab’ singer Amy Winehouse has moved to a completely new holiday apartment. She left Britain and landed for holidays in the Caribbean islands late last month and started dating a local hotel fitness instructor Andrew in St. Lucia and both are moved to a different holiday apartment to keep her new relationship private.
A source said “Amy has a habit of falling for guys very quickly. She’s head-over-heels with Andrew and doesn’t want anything coming in the way of their relationship.
“She initially left the hotel for a villa so she could have some privacy but now she’s moved again to ensure that no one will uncover what she’s getting up to.”
Well I think if she really loves that person she should come out in the open and speak and declare her love for that person, her husband has already initiated divorce filings against her so I think she should not fear anything now.
Hollywood Actress Kate Winslate and her Director Husband Sam Mendes make it a point not to fly together in same flight. They worry that if any case there is a crash then it would leave their kids alone and no one to fend for them. Currently Kate and Sam Mendes are the parents of 5 year-old son Joe and Mia, Kate’s eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Kate and Sam try and travel in separate planes whenever possible. And this thought might have become stronger after the incident in the US this month when a plane landed in the River Hudson and the passengers had a lucky escape as none of them were hurt.
But these are some rare cases in the aviation history when people have survived such crashes. This is good sign for the kids that their parents are so caring for them. This shows the love of the parents for their kids. Both of them are so worried abut their kids because life of kids without parents is so miserable.
It’s barely been a month since singer Fergie and Josh Duhamel got married in a lavish wedding ceremony that was held in Malibu. They are now on a honeymoon and had plans to kick start a family as well.
When the couple was planning their honeymoon trip they agreed to plan for a kid but on reaching the destination Fergie had a complete change of mind and refused to get pregnant. But the two sat down together and amicably came to the conclusion that for their first kid they would adopt a child.
A close friend of theirs’ who knows well about the happenings says “They decided that adopting is the perfect solution. They can start their family without Fergie having to put her on the back burner.”
Obviously Fergie might have realized that she cannot give up a successful singing career and sit and take care of a baby at this point in time and believe me she’s done the right thing. The two are ‘Just Married’ and let some time go by and they will understand marriage and having kids in a better way.
Former weather girl Ulrika Jonsson’s victory in the 2009 Celebrity Big Brother is the biggest shock in the history of reality TV. A lot of people, including Jonsson herself, did not expect her to win and Jonsson was even predicting earlier that she would be the first housemate who would be evicted from the Big Brother House. With a 56.7% share of the final vote, Jonsson was able to beat music journalist Terry Christian with 43.3% voting share and US rapper Coolio. The 41-year old Jonsson said her stay inside Big Brother’s house was one of the weirdest experiences in her life. She said she did not expect to win since her housemates found her bossy and she is not at all surprised about that because even her husband tells her that all the time. However, she could not help herself considering she has four kids in the house who has to take care of organization. In fact, she said, she would be mortified if she is kept inside by the voters saying she wanted to go home already to be with her children.
Matt Damon did not witness the inauguration day ceremony of the new President of the United States of America because he was not willing to pay the $50,000 for two tickets, the cost of tickets to see Obama take the oath. Matt had taken keen part in Obama’s election campaign and hoped his efforts would help him get tickets. But that was not to be.
He says, “When I called my contacts from the campaign, they just started laughing: ‘We worked on the campaign for two and a half years, and we’re not going. Forget it.’ Then, they called me back the next day and said, ‘Hey, we’ve got two tickets for you, in the bleachers, and you’ll actually be able to see Obama take the oath. Just $25,000 apiece.”
I’d say that’s a real good decision that he and his wife have made, they have 3 kids to support and $50,000 is really expensive to watch history being made. I think Matt would need to be cast in a couple expensive budget movies like ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ and the others to have enough money to spend on such things people would never give a miss otherwise.
Meryl Streep won not only the Screen Actors Guild Best Actress Award but also the admiration of her peers after she delivered an entertaining speech. Streep, who won for her portrayal of Sister Aloysius Beauvier in the movie “Doubt”, was so thrilled and disbelieving when her name was called that she waved her arms in the air from her seat to the stage. She even gave presenter Ralph Fiennes a smack on the lips. Streep, who was given a standing ovation by the audience, apologized for not even buying a dress—she was wearing black trousers for the event.
The 59-year old Streep jokingly said she was shocked and happy even if awards do not mean anything to her anymore. She has been nominated for the SAG eleven times but this is only the second time she has won the SAG Award, the first time in 2004. Streep has gained a reputation for being the world’s greatest actress but she juts laughed this off saying “there’s no such thing as the best actress”. She said women in the industry, nominated or not, should be proud for the work they did this year saying everybody wins when they get to play such parts. 1
The actress’ husband, Brad Pitt, joked about the couple being overdue with their next child. He said: We average about two a year, so I guess we’re overdue, aren’t we?” But of course Angelina Jolie doesn’t shy away from being a xenomorph queen and said about having more children: “If they come our way, we’d be happy to have them all. We love children.” But seriously, they already have like 6 of them, what are do they think this is: the repopulation contest? Do they think we’re going to colonize Mars in the near future and there will be a need of people to do the job? Maybe that way we will all get in touch with the real xenomorphs, I’m sure their queen will be jealous when she finds out about Angelina Jolie’s performance.
Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle cannot believe that his low budget movie has bagged 10 Academy Award nominations and felt ecstatic at the wonderful honor. The movie is set for release in Bombay on January 23, 2009 and is based on a young boy life which is transformed when he wins the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
Boyle said in a satellite interview, “The response has been extraordinary – of people saying they want to see it, or have seen it… You’ve got to just live with the moment really – it’s just extraordinary. So we can go to our premiere now here, and say that Hollywood has bestowed this kind of honor. It’s absolutely extraordinary, so thank you to the Academy. What a wonderful honor.”
Well its great to see that how a life of a poor young man is transformed when he wins a competition and what he goes through since that point, I too have heard a lot of good things about the movie and 10 nominations is not a fluke so there has to be something that has caught the eyes of the jury.
Australian actress Cate Blanchett has been honored by her native country wherein her face will be printed and released as postage stamps which is a part of the country’s national day celebrations.
She says, “I am utterly, deeply, humbled and chuffed by the fact that I’m a stamp. I’m going to be licked by millions of Australians and I can’t wait. It is also recognizing the value of the arts in Australia. It brings it into general consumption and if I’m part of that, I feel intensely proud.”
Well I think she finds it cool because she going to be linked and pasted onto envelopes and others are going to receive her in their conventional mail boxes the next morning.
Though my thoughts might sound funny but all the same it is a real honor in these modern times for someone to have their face on a postage stamp. It’s a real cool honor 
Brandy regrets her tattoo collection now as she fears that by the age of 80 they’ll look terrible. The other reasons behind such thoughts are that her own 6 year-old daughter told her that she would like to have some skin art for herself. Brandy made up stories but later realized it was a mistake on her own part.
Speaking to a magazine, “I told her, ‘Guess what? When mama gets 80 or 90 years old, these tattoos are going to look terrible. They’re going to be wrinkled, they’re going to look ugly. Mama wishes I never got a tattoo because I didn’t think about when I turn 80, how they’re going to be.”
Brandy that’s why is easier to be a child but tough when you become a parent and during your heydays if you would have given a thought to such things in perspective with what your kids will think of you actions then most of what you would like to do you will shelve it right there.

Airbrushing is turning out to be one flourishing industry don’t you think? Even with all that airbrushing done, I’m still not impressed. I have nothing against Fergie, but I really doubt that she’s going to help MAC sell more make up. It takes a lot to make her face look right. She still looks like a butter face to me. MAC could have done so much better in choosing a face for their new campaign.
Joaquin Phoenix has said goodbye to acting and hello to the world of music. Casey Affleck has been said to be following the former actor on his latest journey as Casey is directing a documentary feature on Joaquin who is trying his hands at being a rapper. Joaquin’s album is apparently set to be produced by Diddy and he’s scheduled to make his first public performance on Friday at Las Vegas club Lavo, which will officially kick off Casey’s production. Is this serious? Oh well. There’s nothing more enjoying than to watch than train wrecks on tape. Joaquin – a rapper. Pfft.
Boy George is off to the slammer as the has-been 80s singer was found guilty last week of falsely imprisoning a male escort in 2007. On Friday, a judge in London sentenced the singer to 15 months in jail. The singer and his family had a pretty hard time accepting the sentence as they were spotted outside of the courthouse completely breaking down. George was even seen falling to his knees, punching the pavement, openly balling and smoking through cigarettes. Hey, look at the bright side of things. He may have a good story to sell once he gets out of prison.
Marc Anthony & Jennifer Lopez were the star attractions at the “la alfombra roja” – the red carpet – at Union Station Sunday which were part of the inauguration pre-celebration on Sunday.
The couple showed no signs at all of the recent media gossip that the two were nearing a divorce rather they looked very much a couple while posing for the cameras. Lopez wore an elegant electric blue strapless gown while Mark was draped in pinstripes.
It was Lopez who made the first appearance and then a short while later she introduced Anthony. Together they both made a pitch for the new president. “Yes we can,” she said to the cheering crowd. “We all stood together and said ‘Yes we will.’”
The celebrations are truly heart warming and show that America stand united to improving the lives of its people and take measures to correct the financial mess and turmoil that’s gripping the country currently.
Newlyweds Ellen De Generes & Portia De Rossi have turned into vegans – that cos’ they both love animals and would not even dream of hurting them. Former Arrested Development star De Rossi has said the she & De Generes have completely gone meat and dairy-free late last year – and De Generes’ healthy diet choice is already paying off for her.
Speaking of their new stance on meat & dairy products De Rossi says, “We just made that shift in our lives. The benefit of it is weight loss. For her more than me. Her body responded to it very well. It is amazing. We are just both very happy. It feels like such a compassionate choice. We are such animal lovers, why stop short of cows and chickens? It didn’t make any sense.”
Well allow me to put my thoughts here, in case Ellen took this decision then it is great. But just in case if her wife talked her into it then that’s not the ideal thing to do. Because Ellen is much older then her wife Portia may not understand that although here wife is hot hot and does not look 50 years old she is.
And with age you need dairy products to keep your bones strong, and Portia being younger may not need much dairy because of her age its risky and I hope she consulted a doctor before she started this new vegan tried keep looking hot Ellen you been doing something right all these years.
Oscar winner Mira Sorvino has had to undergo dental work that after she finished off her new TV mini-series The Last Templar with 5 teeth on the set. In the upcoming TV event the actress plays the role of a female Indiana Jones and during the entire shooting she was adamant that she would be allowed to do her own stunts for action sequences and fight scenes.
She explains, “We were supposed to be on the Turkish sea in a storm to end all storms. A big wave came and washed my contacts out of my eyes, and a hook got caught, and it slams into my face and breaks five of my teeth.”
the show must go on!….But must say – what a brave girl. It really takes courage to shoot till the end especially if you have broken ur teeth. Maybe think about using the stunt guys next time though….well done for going on the next scene….no matter what happened, you didn’t want to miss that huge kiss!….
Mickey Rourke’s ex-wife has slammed people who say that Mickey is a hardman saying he is a ‘A Softie’. She claimed that his reputation should be perceived as one of a person who is also the most “thin-skinned” man she ever met.
After their marriage in 1981 Feur got to know Rourke was riddled with fears. She adds: “He is the most thin-skinned, over-sensitive person I have ever met. When we met he was like a little abused dog. He was so vulnerable. He hated flying and he wouldn’t go in the ocean because he was afraid there’d be sharks.
“He was so nervous. Despite taking up polo, he’s even terrified of horses. He made his name playing sex symbols and fighters but he’d make a much better Woody Allen character. He’s so phobic.”
Yes, the ex-wife would have been wise to keep her mouth shut, out of respect. If what she says is true, that may have been one reason why Mickey self-medicated so much. Former Danity Kane star Aubrey O’Day has lashed out on the different online gossip blogs – saying that they do no good and merely spread “negativity” on the internet.
While speaking to MTV she let out her thoughts saying, “I think that we have become obsessed with Internet blogging. And I think that there is so much negativity out there, and it’s doing no one any good. It’s not doing the people that sit there and think of the nasty thoughts and spend the 10 to 20 hours of their day typing them up (any good). It’s not doing the people that read them any good (either), because it’s just consistently putting negativity in the air. It’s not really doing anyone any good, and, you know, we are all so addicted to it. And maybe sit back and ask yourself why.”
It does not take hours to talk negative trash about u Aubrey. Just looking at u or hearing your name just makes a person want to be rude or truthful. By the way the truth is and will remain that even if it is not said.
Let me update you – you are a complete trash and you cannot stand negativity because you are a person in depression and cannot take criticism in your stride hence your comments.
Actress Kate Winslet, a 2-time Golden Globe winner is all set for more glory. The actress has been nominated not once but twice for the same category at the BAFTAs or British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards – Best Actress.
The jury members of the BAFTA have chosen Kate for her role in “The Reader” and also for “Revolutionary Road” in which she stars along side her ‘Titanic’ co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Winslet will be facing stiff competition from the likes of Meryl Streep who has been nominated for her role in the movie ‘Doubt’ while the other actresses nominated are British actress Kristin Scott Thomas for ‘I’ve Loved You Too Long’ & Angelina Jolie for The Changeling.
I think Kate is most deserving. She’s been passed over so many times. However, I also think there are too many G-D awards shows! Kate and Leonardo make a cute couple. I don’t know where her husband fits in, but I guess that’s ok.
