Posted on Dec 12, 2008 under TV Show | No Comment

Back in July, it was announced that Jimmy Fallon would do some ‘practice’ hosting of the Late Show online before he takes over for Conan O’Brien in 2009.
Well, starting Monday, you can see Jimmy do his thing on the Internets.
WOOHOO! I expect Jimmy to do well.
According to a new report, the team guiding Jimmy will be producing web videos, that are described as a “video blog”, which will go live with the show.
Good luck Jimmy!

‘Forrest Gump’ sequel not to happen says screenwriter

If Oscar-winning screenwriter Eric Roth is to be believed and there’s no reason not to then he will never agree to a sequel to hit movie Forrest Gump as for his the 9/11 terrorist attacks was when the dream of a 2nd film ended.

He won the Academy Awards for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work on the 1994 movie and you know what just a prior to the dastardly attacks on the WTC in New York Roth submitted a script for the follow-up.

In an interview he tells, “I turned in my version of the Forrest Gump sequel, or Part II, whatever you call it… It’s a continuation really – I want to start the movie literally two minutes after the end of the last one, with him on the bus bench waiting for his son to get home from school.”

I agree, but I’m way too curious to see and actually watch how things would have turned out in the movie without jenny, momma n bubba, hey I got a idea …make it into a book instead.

Samuel L. Jackson’s Caine ambition

Some chap asked Samuel Jackson as to when the star actor would retire and in his usual blunt fashion Samuel said “Retiring from what? There’s no reason to – I’m going to be the black Michael Caine.”

At 59 years of age Samuel wants a career that’s as long as the one Michael Caine had and if possible even longer than that. But I thought that Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood was the one with the longest Hollywood career, you know some guys seem to be there for so long, means you seem them since childhood and they are still there when you are 50.

The ‘Lakeview Terrace’ star insists that retirement is not on his mind at all and he to enjoy as lengthy a career as 75-year-old Michael. Well Samuel I really like to see your movies just hope to have teeth left inside your month till then.
