David Duchovny sues newspaper

Reportedly the “X-Files” star has sued the British newspaper the Daily Mail for a fake story that he cheated on his wife, Tea Leoni.
The newspaper story suggested that the sex-addict David Duchovny has been cheating with his tennis coach.
In the lawsuit, filed on October 22, in Los Angeles County Superior Court, the actor’s lawyer stated, “The story falsely alleges that Duchovny sought out Ms. Pakay to be his tennis instructor and that the ‘professional relationship’… quickly turned into a love match.”
David Duchovny has sought US$1 million damages from the newspaper for defamation and invasion of privacy.
