Film sources say, “We’re hoping she will still come back and do the film and are happy to wait. The film is tailor made for those two so of course we would want to wait. You can’t get much better than them.” Her costar is Ryan Gosling, who she is rumored to have been dating.

Dixie Chick Martie Maguire has announced that she is pregnant with her third child with husband Gareth Maguire. The couple already has twin girls Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie, born in April 2004.
She says, “I’m very excited. We know what it is – it’s a girl.” She goes on to say, “We’ll have to move over and let the little chicks take over! We’ve got a new band!”

Sources are chalking it up to a miscommunication when Ringo was given only 3 minutes to perform a 4-minute, 15-second song. He then chose to hightail it out of there after he wasn’t given any more time. According to his rep, “Ringo left saying, ‘God bless and goodbye. We still love Regis.’”

Monday morning Gwyneth Paltrow jogged through the park, seemingly healthy. That afternoon, however, she was checked into the hospital for an unknown illness.
According to people on the scene, she was pushed into the hospital by husband Chris Martin. Witnesses said she was slumped over in her wheelchair. Later that day, a bag of organic food was sent to the hospital for her from Organics Avenue. People from the store said, “She’s doing our five-day live-food fast.”
They later explained that it wasn’t actual fasting. “She’s eating salads, there’s juices. There’s actually quite a bit of food there, it’s just all raw and organic.”
Her rep has chosen not to comment at this time, simply saying it was a personal matter.
Congrats to new mom Christina Aguilera and pop Jordan Bratman. They welcomed baby boy Max Liron on Saturday night at 10:05 pm. This is their first child.
Their rep says, “Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He a beautiful, healthy baby boy!” He was 20.5 inches long and weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces.
Christina later posted on her webpage, “Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world.”

It seems like the reason behind the death of rapper Kanye West’s mother following a plastic surgery operation will forever remain a mystery. The Los Angeles coroner’s office has released their findings on Thursday on the death of Dr. Donda West and they say that she died of “coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty.” However, it was also stated that there was no sign of “surgical or anesthetic misadventure” and that “the final matter of death could not be determined.” It looks like that shady doctor is going to be off the hook.
A very pregnant, seven months to be exact, Halle Berry accepted an award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday night. She said that being pregnant was the secret to enjoying these events.
Halle said, “This is the first red carpet that I’ve really walked down where I didn’t have to think about holding in my stomach – because I can’t.”
She and her boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are expecting their first child together. Halle went on to say, “It’s the first time I’ve been to an awards show where they served a meal and I actually ate it – the whole thing. I was eating off everybody else’s plate and that felt very liberating and good.”

I swear 2008 is set to be a baby boom year – there are pregnancies absolutely everywhere at the moment. Almost every other day a new celebrity announces that they are expecting. Happy news all around of course, but weird nonetheless.
Celebrity pregnancy of the day is ex-eastender Tamzin Outhwaite. The TV beauty, who is married to actor Tom Ellis, is four months pregnant with her first child. It comes as no surprise really; the 37 year old has previously expressed her desire to become a mother, saying: “Having children is my biggest dream. I’d be happy not to work again and look after the children.”
Tamzin’s spokesman confirmed the news. A source said: “Tamzin and Tom are both over the moon.”
With all the drama that went down at Britney Spears’ home on Thursday, people are scrounging for information on just who exactly was present and got to where the pop wreck was keeping little Jayden James. Everyone thought that it was Brit’s wannabe singer cousin Alli Sims who used a hammer to hack her way into the bathroom where Brit locked herself in with JJ. A lot of drama went down went Britney Spears pretty much staged a kidnapping of her own son. Police cars, ambulances and fire trucks were all over her home. When the drama inside the house finally came to an end, more drama went on outside when the pop wreck was wheeled out of her home by paramedics on a stretcher.
Britney was taken to Cedar-Sinai hospital on a ‘medical hold’ which is essentially a mental evaluation. Cops say she was found on Thursday seemingly under the influence of an unknown substance. Jayden James followed his mom’s ambulance in an ambulance of his own. Let’s hope that the small fry is ok. I could care less about Britney.
