Sometimes I think Oprah’s a little TOO mushy, but when I saw what she was doing for these girls, I really was touched. I think she’s sharing her wealth in many, many ways, both advertised and not. I’m sure she spends plenty of money on charitable causes here in the US. Such as the Katrina victims and others that I have heard mentioned on her show teasers. (I can’t watch her show as I am still at work when it comes on). Just because she’s spreading money in other parts of the world too doesn’t mean she’s not helping people here. And besides that…it’s her BILLIONS…she can do what she wants with it. As for the beauty salons Dave, if you had seen the special on the opening of the school, you would have seen the harsh back grounds these young girls came from. I don’t think having their hair and nails done is going to turn them into anorexic models, but it just might boost their self-esteem and give them a little more confidence in themselves.

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones has laughed off reports claiming she is suffering from anorexia, insisting her slender figure is the result of healthy eating and plenty of exercise. The Chicago star, 38, is baffled by the rumors of an eating disorder, and admits even her husband Michael Douglas was amused by the reports. They need to leave her alone, what if she’s looking slimmer, it’s her body and there’s nothing ya’ll can do about it. Who ever made up this story, I have to say has very bad taste and senses. When the stars put on some slightest of weight there are cries that she is not taking care and has an eating disorder and too plum to land a movie role and all sorts of stories then when she pays attention and reduces some weight to get into shape and satisfy all our concern we won’t let her live in peace. People will say OMG she is suffering with anorexic disease and her bones are probably visible and she needs to do this and that. For heaven sake guys why can’t we simply praise her for her absolutely gorgeous looks?

John Rich Tries to Cover Up

Here’s what people do when they say something wrong. They do another interview or release a statement trying to make themselves look good again. But alas, it’s just too late.

John Rich of country music duo Big & Rich recently had an interview with The Tennessean regarding gays and lesbians which was really big on the hate. Here’s what he says now: “My earlier comments on same-sex marriage don’t reflect my full views on the broader issues regarding tolerance and the treatment of gays and lesbians in our society. I apologize for that and wish to state clearly my views. I oppose same-sex marriage because my father and minister brought me up to believe that marriage is an institution for the union of a man and a woman. However, I also believe that intolerance, bigotry and hatred are wrong. People should be judged based on their merits, not on their sexual orientation. We are all children of God and should be valued and respected.”

Britney and Kevin Got Along Just Fine

Of course it went well. Deep down, Britney is still hoping for reconciliation. She loves that man, and values his opinion. It really is too bad that he was greedy it didn’t work out. i think all this talk of her having ADHD is just her docs wanting to put a label on her “condition” so they can prescribe her more drugs. Where’s the meaning in your life? What matters to you? Figure that out and build from there. Everything else is superfluous and will pass in time.

Diddy is a brat to the core, this moron has left many girls pregnant and thereafter has later said that he is willing to take care of the girl and kids as his own. I wonder in the next 2 years how many more kids he will be accepting as his own. I know he doesn’t have to bother about the financial part coz he has a fortune that will take care of the kids needs but why would any woman want to share a bed with him if at all she has character. This idiot goes to jail for her “explosive behavior” and not following the judges orders. Hmmm, sound familiar? If she’s going to be disruptive while she’s in JAIL, she deserves solitary confinement. When she does get out, she’ll probably go right back in and that’s where she belongs until she doesn’t learn to control her temper. This dumb girl so called stupid full time singer needs a psychiatrist, and also a few horse tranquilizers. Hey! If it’s good enough for Paris Hilton, then it’s certainly good enough for Foxy Brown. Makes me want to gag just saying her name.

More Star Homes Evacuated

What is it with stars not being in their own home? But I guess it’s a somewhat fortunate incident that they’re not there during a state of emergency.

Country music star and Malibu resident Tanya Tucker wasn’t in Malibu during the wild brush fire. She was currently in Las Vegas but she did take time to call in to KCOP-TV in Los Angeles. Apparently, her 18-year old daughter was in the house and had to be evacuated from the home along with their four dogs. Her daughter told her that the scene was “very chaotic”.

Tanya goes on to say that all her stage clothes were in the house and that firemen had been “dumping water on our house” to try and salvage it.

Britney Spears Gets Kids Back

Britney Spears has regained visitation privileges with her two sons. Great. She’s free to be a bad mother again until she gets stripped of those privileges within the next week.

The perennial law breaker who recently had all visitation privileges stripped after a complete disregard of judge’s orders was seen driving around the Studio City section of Los Angeles on Saturday with her kids along with a court-appointed monitor.

Does this mean she got another drug test already which means she actually answered her phone? Gee, how much special treatment can one person get? They should just test her everyday!

J.K. Rowling Outs Dumbledore

I think that the fact that J.K. Rowling incorporated a character that is attributed with an alternative life style is an important maneuver. It is an encamping move. And the series may once have been aimed towards children, but can one really try to hide behind the “its a children’s book” after the scenes in the past two books? I think not! The people that are reading this book at this point are teenagers and young adults, 16+. The people who actually have to be concerned with things such as sexual identity. A good example of this is say, a 16 year old male is a homosexual, but does not understand the feelings that he is having, would it not be comforting for this teen to have a familiar icon with the same preferences? This was a very good move. It has nothing to do with publicity, nothing to do with cash, well maybe a little. But primarily, it is to make the characters more human. It was great for her to reveal that one of the most powerful characters in this series leads an alternative life style. And gays are not mean, what the hell was with that comment?!? That’s just bigoted; you can’t group people together like that. That’s pre Martin Luther king Jr. Status.

Oops! She Did it Again

She got her kids’ visitation suspended for not getting in contact with the drug testing people and now she’s reportedly stood up her parenting coach. Does Britney Spears get off on antagonizing the law as much as she can?

Sources say that the troubled pop star had a scheduled time to meet the coach a few days ago at her Malibu home. The coach got there but there was no Britney in sight. Some sources are also saying that it was the coach who phoned in to ask the Commissioner to suspend the home visits presumably because it’s going nowhere.

It’s safe to say that Britney doesn’t listen to anyone.

Amy Winehouse Released From Jail

I tell you guys these so called celebrities are a shame on themselves. Give one person who has not indulged in drugs lately or in the past. Lindsay to Paris to Britney to Mick Jagger to all of these people are druggies. They are all so addicted that they carry it in their bags and handbags just incase there is that instant urge to get high and they cannot get someone to their help immediately, so as a matter of precaution they will carry the drugs where ever they are flying, I am amazed that if they carry it while boarding the plane or even on a private jet are they not checked for the luggage they are carrying with them. I know 7 grams of weed is nothing much in quantity but that doesn’t mean you can get away with it. Amy has just in the past few month caught up with the addiction so badly that it’s now her best companion and her recent rehab stay too hasn’t benefited her much. Rehabs are just new hotel where are celeb checks in, enjoy are week laid back and comes out rejuvenated and with renewed vigor to continue that drugs merry.

I hate to agree with Paris, but I think she’d be perfect for a movie version of “Dallas.” It’s going to be a steaming pile anyway, why not go all out? Cast Lohan and Britney too. Shit crashes there all the time. Britney Spears has had all her visitation rights suspended because she won’t comply with court orders. Apparently she failed to give the drug testing people contact information so they could reach her for random tests, so the LA County Commissioner took away all her visitation rights. Wouldn’t most people be embarrassed if the state decided they were to stupid to raise their own children? Wouldn’t most people care about their own children? You know it’s kind of gone beyond making fun of Brit for being pathetic, now I am actually beginning to hate her to the point that I hope she develops painful cervical cancer (which is gonna happen anyway cause there is no way she doesn’t have HPV by now) and slowly dies alone. That or chokes on a ham sandwich and dies in a pool of her own feces. Either or. It’s not like the judge is asking her to find Noah’s Ark. All Britney has to do to see her kids is basically give the drug testing people a name and a phone number. Well again it’s her life and she is in control of her actions.

Daddy dearest is going to cough up close to $7 million dollars for a villa in Century City for Nicole Richie and her baby daddy Joel Madden. Donny Osmond Contemplated Drug Bust To Reinvent Image

I think Donny Osmond tells a very revealing, interesting story about himself. Of course i can truly understand about selling drugs to give rid of his clean boy image. But i am so glad he didn’t listen to his agent, and not sell drugs. He is better off today for not doing it. I think at some point of time we all have to go through the same feelings, I am the bad and ugly boys have the temptation to go clean and they wish they could be seen as nice people and similarly clean people think they could do better with a bad boys image and boost their career to the point where they either become cult or become trash. I loved Donny Osmond as a teenager. I remember how Michael Jackson did so well with Thriller and those hits. It must have been hard for Donny, but look that is on top now and don’t compromise his morals or character.

ANYONE remotely average in build or less can EASILY spend two hours in an average hair (or put on a wig) and makeup salon, 15 minutes putting on an average wardrobe, get your pictures taken by an average photographer with an average camera, then have an average photo shopper retouch you pictures and BOOM!…you will have an outstanding, completely beautiful, FAKE version of yourself, ala Kate Moss and 99.9% of other celebrities’ photoshoots. I’m not saying many celebs aren’t attractive, but it’s not like you know Kate, hang around her, and REALLY know what she looks like. You could walk down any high school, college or university and find 50% of the female students better looking than her. And most of them are all REAL. I wish those idiot designers would realize this and stop these ridiculous statements kissing the asses of these boring looking women.

Jude Law Cleared Of Paparazzo Assault

Hollywood heartthrob Jude Law has been cleared of claims he assaulted a photographer. The actor was arrested last month after allegedly attacking a paparazzo outside his London home. He was questioned by police and released on bail. Look guys, here’s where I can forgive these nasty celebs for their acts, it’s the prelude to the Orlando Bloom accident stuff, just image he same accident happens to Jude, he has an accident but escapes unhurt and knows that this particular pap chap is guilty and loses his head over him. So if that was anywhere near the truth and he got intruded by the paps in anyway then I think it’s about time and well overdue the paparazzi allow these celebs some fresh air to breath and privacy. And if that’s the reason he assaulted that chap then he did the right thing, these guys just can’t run over you in the name of covering the events of a celebrity life. Someday the celeb should be given a chance to cover the life of a famous pap and then get into his wardrobe and bathroom and give them the taste of their own medicine.

Actress Halle Berry is frustrated she still has to convince movie bosses of her acting ability because of her skin color. The 41-year-old is the only woman of African American descent to have won an Oscar for Best Actress – but Berry admits race barriers still exist in Hollywood. She needs to get over it…..by the way she is half white but forgets to mention that. In fact, there are more women actress’s out there today, that are unbelievable! And quite a few that are white etc.etc.., and cannot get work…gee… reverse discrimination? You wonder! Pave the way for ALL Women! By the way it amazes me that a Oscar winning actress and a former bond girl finds it hard to land significant roles in Hollywood movies, it has also to do with our fixation for white skin, that looks attractive but is mostly empty inside. I though ours’ is an industry that believes in quality and commitment rather that the color of the skin, but barriers exists and we live on to ignore it.
