Moss’ pictures sell for 183,000 pounds

Celebrities and models can leave a lasting impression even after not being in the limelight that often. Though the same cannot be said of Kate Moss but that some of her pictures sold for thousands of pounds is really shows who famous and wanted the former model is even today. Her face has graced many ad campaigns for years but there is still frenzy when some original pictures of a young Kate Moss went on sale. Collectors’ eager to land their hands on an original print of a young Moss forked out 183,000 pounds when the snaps went on auction at Christie’s in London. The pictures date back to the early 90’s when Moss had just started her carrier as a model, and also includes some nude shots taken when she was in her early 20’s. The most expensive photos were a set of 6 prints taken by Chick Close in 2003 that went for 84000 pounds. Kate Moss is one the highest paid and well known faces in the world of glamour.
