The Ghost in Spector’s Past
I don’t really know who Paul Spector is, but I do know good Hollywood Drama when I see it. It seems Pauly boy had a genius. He created something called the “Wall of Sound” which changed the was rock music was written. Great stuff, if you know what it means. What I know about Paul Spector is that he killed Lana Clarkson (No relation to Kelly, really) in 2003. But in the way of all Los Angeles court cases, they are just getting around to trial.
He shot her. He admits he shot her, and yet he calls in an accident. Brilliant. Today in court his lawyers are trying to say the blond bombshell (she was even in the running to play Marilyn Monroe, if you get any idea) was depressed to the point of suicide. A lot of this has to do with the coroner’s findings that she had gun residue on her hands. But hey, if someone points a gun at me, I figure I’m going to raise my hands in defense, right? So I think it’s all a load of tripe trying to get this guy off. The prosecution isn’t happy about them trying to destroy Lana’s personality, and I’m with them. Leave the poor girl in piece. Hasn’t she already been through enough?
